^^ I know! I skipped it when ordering my Heatherette stuff b/c they were out of stock and I thought they'd re-stock it when I found out about Brush Focus. I'll have to take time to visit a counter soon if that's the case... =T

the main reason baby shampoo is recommended is because it's such a gentle cleanser. babies have such fine hair and sensitive skin. most baby shampoos also contain conditioning agents (so that a separate conditioner isn't required) - this can also help the brushes by not overly drying out the bristles.

I'm all for using a mild baby shampoo like johnson & johnson, it works really good. I even use that to remove my eye makeup!
