190 brush handles

my 190 just came in the mail, and after reading other peoples posts about what the handles should look like, ive gotten all confused

are they suppost to be kinda sparkly or matte?

Its a little shiny, but matte if this makes any sense.

Actually they can have sparkles in the handles as well, usually quite fine. There are a number of posts here where members have gotten their brushes direct from a MAC counter and noticed sparkles in the handles.
