Ok, so before I post the pictures this FOTD has a background. I went into work today, and before I knew it, some of the older women that I worked with surrounded me around my computer and said that they needed to talk to me. I was expecting something to do with work...but no, they told me that my makeup was "trashy" and that I needed to take it off. Since none of them are my boss, I went above their heads and got to keep it on.

So, just because my makeup was insulted today, I knew I needed to post it. Even though I said I would post my 2nd FOTD with golds and reds....this is what happened.

Trashy huh??? I don't know how "older" we're talking about, but I've seen older women with lots of bright/bold makeup, and purple, pink hair (when the dying has gone wrong).

LOL. Did I mention I work at a LIBRARY?!

These women are beyond old, stuff and take conservative to an all new level. They probably don't even own makeup. One girl got fired last year for selling AVON on the side with her mom. And it wasn't because they didn't want her working another job, it was because these old witches hate makeup.

I think it is gorgeous, not at all trashy!!!

BUUTTTT i do think it isnt a little bright for work. I mean, i work in a casual office setting, like i wear jean shorts from hollister and tanks anf flip flops to work so at my work, it would be nothing for me to wear my makeupo like that, but i think if you have to dress even business casual, work makeup should be kept more neutral. Just my honest opinion.

It is absolutely stunning and i love it, but for work it may be a bit much.

Not trashy at all! It's very beautiful. Anyway, they're just jealous that they can't pull off makeup like that. And I find it pretty weird that they had the nerve to come up and tell you that you looked trashy, especially since neither of them are your boss.
