A question about bases...

has anyone tried a shadestick over a paint? or is that a bad idea? I still have creasing in two spots even when using bare canvas. so i was wondering if a s/s would help with that?

I use the Beigeing shadestick for my base and it usually works for me. Have you tried using the lustres wet? I find that if I spray just a little bit of water on my brush before I swipe my lustre shadows, they seem to go on a little better.

I use paint only as a base, works great, no creasing and my e/s lasts all day. I tried CCB, even a thin layer overtop the paint like some suggest - it really made the e/s colors pop but all my e/s wore off in a couple hours.

bare canvas paint
or base light paint for bolder looks

paints in all colors work the best for me because they help with blending the shadows after you apply the base
hope this helps
