I don't have Black Tied but I've read that other people have problems with it sometimes too. I prefer Carbon, it's a basic black matte, great for smokey eyes!

I would not recommend it because the flash on it makes my pictures very inconsistant. It sometimes washes out all the color or makes me look much darker than I am. It's time to buy a new one.
