Does anyone know where we can find the list of ingredients for this new foundation and Velvet powders? I can't see them on their site but maybe because I'm seeing the mobile version?
Thanks for the description. I really like the finish of Maestro and FI, so I definitely want to give this one a try. I think I'll wait until it's in my local Sephora and ask for a couple of samples to determine the colour. I normally wear Mont Blanc in their other formulas, but I found that it was too dark on me in the cream foundation, whereas Gobi was perfect. Looking at T's swatches, I'm actually thinking Siberia would be my option for this one. It always bothers me when this sort of thing happens. It's hard enough to figure out a foundation match. Why won't companies try harder to keep their formulas consistent, or at least have the decency to give them different names?Picked up the foundation and soft velvet loose powder today. It is very close in finish and how it feels on the skin to GA Maestro, YSL Fusion Ink, etc but VERY full coverage and not as fluid/runny. Shades also don't correlate with the current/old formulas available (at least not in the darker range). My usual shades (Macao/New Guinea) were so off and light so I think matching in person if you can would help.
I totally agree. I'm test driving it today and I'm not completely happy with the color, although in pictures it seems fine. It's throwing me for a loop, the way the colors (in my usual shades) differentiate from their other formulas. The finish is lovely though-- matte and luminous; not flat. As a NARS artist put it: 'An eggshell [finish]".Thanks for the description. I really like the finish of Maestro and FI, so I definitely want to give this one a try. I've never tried any of their face powders (aside from their light reflecting translucent powder). The texture is nice is about all I can say thus far lol. Thanks for your initial thoughts. It's a shame they didn't stay consistent with the shades! How do you like the powder? Does it compare to their other loose powder if you have it or any other powder?
Anytime!Yeah it's not sheer glow thanks for the link!
=/ Hmmpf... I guess I'll wait to read some feedback from you people before getting it, I'm too scared to trust my old monitor lol XDYeah. Even Siberia in ADLW runs a little lighter than its SG counterpart, as well as Sheer Matte. Possibly even a little more neutral, too, based on Christine's swatches?
She might not like the silicone texture, but dang! does that ever have a nice finish! That bottle is giving me the heebie jeebies, though, once she pointed out the chipability factor.Laura's (Buy Now, Blog Later) review is back up on her blog. http://www.buynowbloglater.com/2014/12/nars-all-day-luminous-weightless.html
Yes you canSo I can go to sephora and ask for a sample of this before purchasing it?
Going after work so I can test drive it until I get paid on Friday! Thanks Dolly!!Yes you can
No problem love. Even if it isn't out yet, just ask them. They told me "if anyone comes in and asks for the new formula, we must go to the back and grab a sample", "or we can color match them"Going after work so I can test drive it until I get paid on Friday! Thanks Dolly!!
The super inaccurate store locator tool on the website says the sephora near me has it. But I learned the hard way not to trust that lolNo problem love. Even if it isn't out yet, just ask them.
