You are very welcome. I adore clarins skincare and love to share my passion about it!

Just as a warning - their oils have very strong herbal scent. Once you get used to it it's ok.

I've been using the liquid foundation for a couple weeks now and for the most part I really like it! The finish is beautiful and it looks divine in pictures. The only thing is that I get a little TOO shiny by the end of the day even when I use primer and set it with the light reflecting pressed powder.

Girl I retuned mine for that very reason... I tried the Nars oil free primer and even bought the velvet loose powder, NOTHING HELPED!!! Back to Nordstrom's she went, I'm sticking to Sheer Glow

It was this thread!! I couldn't remember where you talked about it, and just happened to come back in this thread. But I've been meaning to tell you I tried the Lotus oil.
I am extemely oily in my tzone. So much so, my Grandmother once asked me why I was so greasy. LOL I was hesitant to try it b/c my Derm told me to stay away from oils in my hair and on my face. But I tried it anyway. It made a HUGE difference. My skin was so soft and moisturized. It is the perfect thing to wear after I put on my Retin-A at night. I haven't worn it the past few days, and I put on Mineral Powder today, and I'm an oily mess.
Thanks for raving about Clarins. I never would have looked at them.

Haha I'm definitely going to look into that foundation because I do love the shade range for NARS! Currently using Macao which is a tad dark but since it's almost summer it will be absolutely perfect! For normal wear though I'm defs gonna try going a shade down when I try sheer glow!

No you made mine! Lol
I did take a look at the site. Of course I did it wrong the first night. I can't find my sample, it was a nice size, but I can't go without this, so I ordered it and will pick it up at Nordies tomorrow. I tried the Algenist Oil, and it doesn't compare.

I wore this foundation last night and love it. It does feel light weight and is very glowy. I have a very oily t zone and went 3 hours without blotting yet it still looked pretty good. A little goes a long way and even though one of the MAs said to use your fingers, I used a RT brush and it worked well and didn't seem to soak up too much of the product. It took a few trips to Sephora to find the right color but New Orleans works really well. I'm mostly a NW45 in MAC Studio Sculpt and the new Pro Longwear Nourishing foundations.

I really want to try this foundation but I'm not sure what color to get. I'm a nc15 in mac (fix fluid). According to temptalia I should get gobi, but isn't that too yellow? Anyone out there who knows? :)

So I finally tried the foundation. I liked it. It's not revolutionary but it is nice. Very pigmented and a little goes a long way you needy tiny bit to achieve great coverage. It has very thin texture and sets pretty quickly. I applied it with my fingers pressing it into the skin (saw a nars video on youtube that suggested doing it that way). It looked great. I loved the finish right after the application almost skin like kind of matte but still luminous. Hard to describe. I wore it in 95% humidity and it held up very well - although it did settle into my pores after couple of hours but it wasn't terrible. I did not find it drying at all which was my biggest concern - i moisturized and prepped my skin. I also tried it without a moisturizer and a primer and still it didn't accentuate my dryer spots. But mind that my skin is not so bad during summer and I sweat a lot. Probably this would be too dry for winter when I like thicker creamier foundations. Color was perfect - I wear deauville in sheer glow and deuville in this one matched me perfectly.

Today I used this foundation over Dior's Glow Maximizer primer. I applied the foundation with a damp beauty blender and I am in looooove! It looks so nice. I can't use this foundation with a brush anymore. BB all the way!

Gobi is really, really yellow. I was supposedly Gobi according to Sephora's color match thing, but I left with Siberia because I thought that was a better match. I'm NW13-15 if it helps.

I just bought this foundation and I'm really excited to try it. I've only patch tested it so far. I'll let you guys know what I think of it later tonight after I've worn it all day.

Ok, now that I've tried it. This is my holy grail foundation. Wow. I don't know how well it will hold up to heat or my intense sweating (my meds make me sweat more and it's hot here), but I'm super impressed with the coverage and the feel of it on my skin (weightless indeed). One thing that I didn't like about the MAC Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof foundation was that it felt sticky on my skin (but I LOVED the fact that I never had to worry about sweating off my makeup).

OMGGG I thought it was just me!!! It is rather gummy feeling which scared me a bit... Usually when a foundation is gummy for me it means it's breaking down but that wasn't the case but still lol

I think whatever makes it waterproof causes it to be sticky feeling. And it pretty much ruined my kat von d foundation brush. Gunked it up and I still can't get it totally clean. It's like...matted kinda. Hard to explain.
