Kewl. I tried the MAC one, the colors weren't the best for me. I use and LOOOOOVE Estee Lauder Double Wear. It doesn't transfer. Tried the MJ today, like it, very light and the color worked for me, #84. I had forgotten about it so I already had my EL Illuminating Primer on but tomorrow I want to try it with the MJ primer.
Def try it and please post what you think! I really liked how it went on and smelled. Not too thick of a texture either. But honestly now I'm wondering if I jumped the gun on dissing the foundation. I think maybe the MJ primer is my issue; I tried it under my MAC foundation today and don't like how it is wearing. I'm just surprised because it went on so well. So tomorrow will be experiment day #3 with the MJ foundation and my usual primer.... lol. I will have to look into that EL foundation on my next mall trip! I love trying new stuff and am not very familiar with their products.
It's really nice. The Sephora chick said I needed just a dot but I was using a bb and I couldn't see how that would work. I used less than my EL but more than a dot. Just checked the MJ website and it says 3-4 dots, that's more like it. Yeah, $55 isn't $38 but it's concentrated and 0.75 oz whereas EL is 1 oz and not concentrated. A bottle should last longer. MJ also claims 24-hr wear, EL is 15hr.I'm glad you liked the MJ foundation. I bought the MAC pro longwear waterproof foundation a month or so ago and it oxidized on me so I had to blend it with a lighter foundation. I've never had that problem before with a MAC foundation. I've used the mineralize moisture foundation for years and never had a problem but I needed something with less moisturizer for the summer. Now I'm hooked on the one from MJ since it blends in so well and looks flawless. It was well worth the extra pennies but I used a gift card so it didn't hurt as much. Plus, it should last a while since I don't have to use much. Let me know how it works with the primer.
