[COLOR=141823] I just wanna thank Sephora for the comedy gold this whole thing has been, grown women throwing tantrums, threatening to never shop at sephora again, calling for sephora executives to be fired (lol), acting like this whole thing has ruined their lives... all this over makeup. I've literally laughed out loud over some of these comments and I can't believe they're coming from adult women. To all of you throwing these internet tantrums, I just wanna say I think it's time to reevaluate your life and your priorities. Sitting in front of computer hitting "refresh" for an entire night and day getting no sleep, is something only a mentally ill person would do. And those of you calling for the heads of marketing executives and the like (again lol), please realize that it's not going to happen, no one is going to be fired cause a stay at home mom obsessed with makeup wants "rewards justice". These execs know what they were doing and they'll do it again and again, and you women will threaten again and again to boycott them, only to find yourself shopping there again in a few weeks, hoarding more makeup.
A word of advice, look at yourself and think "will this matter a year from now?" No it won't. Cause it's makeup. That wasn't "free". Because you've already spent over 5k in makeup. You gals also need a basic course in math because if you actually went and bought more stuff you didn't need in the weeks leading to the event to try and get 2x or 3x the points, then I'm sorry to say you are an idiot.
Take a step back, log off, turn off your computer, leave your phone at home and go for a walk, go get yourself a cup of coffee and stop writing senseless stuff on this and all other social media, your crazy is showing."

Where is that Jon Stewart gif right now? The streets need it.Omg I can't, there's a FB group that already has 635 members! https://www.facebook.com/groups/SephorasEpicFail/?hc_location=ufi And a petition! https://www.change.org/p/calvin-mcd...utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=copylink
Ahh, that sucks! And I am paying for the stalking day yesterday at work lol!! Also I missed the etsy listing of one of the shops I follow!! I wanted one of the pendant chain so badI think I was more bummed about that lol'n
Yup, points for dollars would be great. Heck, even Children's Place does that with their My Place Rewards! I get "CP Cash" all the time and I love it! I then use it for regular-priced items I may want for the kids that I wouldn't spend full-pop on. Otherwise I just do sale/clearance and coupons, lolll. Sephora loves giving you the points then saying they don't expire...thank goodness because you need that to ever get something with them! Ulta and Children's Place points expire, but that just makes you shop and use them and not hoard. I'm thinking cash-based rewards need to put expiration dates on their points so that you can't hoard and end up with thousands of dollars thoughThat's exactly the problem, even such a huge amount of money from them wouldn't begin to cover their customers. I think they should do away w the whole points system entirely. Or offer a selection of epic rewards each month in place of the birthday gift, like you could attempt to redeem your points during your birthday month only (but they still better have way more than 40 of each, that's staggeringly low to me) I also really like the idea of the Ulta method where points converts to money off a purchase, even if it isn't dollar for dollar. The points as they stand are totally useless right now, I'm going to have mine for the rest of my life lol sorry Sephora, I'm never using them on your 1-250 pointers! And I think they should have been realistic about people's chances w the rewards. If I knew even with stalking it wouldn't happen I wouldn't have tried, it's not worth the effort lol
Oh my gosh, that is amazing! I would have been taken down and punched in the face by security in a millisecond in my town!Ahh, that sucks!
I was so tired today, that when I went to the store I was more distracted with my jeans sliding down & my tshirt sliding up & my butt showing, that I actually walked out without paying for my $106.00 worth of groceriesI figured it out as soon as I walked through the exit & went right back in to the checkout. The self checkout lady laughed at me. Thank goodness they know me

That's another reason I think they need a revamp on their system, bc so many of us have thousands of hoarded points just waiting for sephora to pay out lol I wouldn't want a bunch of my customers having hoarded points when there's no real way to satisfy everyone, it's like ammo! All these now annoyed customers with mountains of points they want you to back up with product lolYup, points for dollars would be great. Bwahahaha, me too! I'm all good for a cause until I can get a discount. Then I'm like "What cause?"I will still be shopping the VIB 20% off sale in the fall. I'm a sucker for a discount on high end brands!
yes I don't think I can follow up with any boycotts!! I just know now to set the expectation low and redeem all those mini mascara and fragrance samples!!

That's what I did too. And really, the perks are just as good if not better than Sephora. Like, during the anniversary sale, I got three free gifts from Nars with deluxe samples for spending over $85 (uh, three separate times...) plus a full bottle of Prada perfume. The matte/shimmer one looks good to me. I think I will be grabbing that from Nordstrom. I have moved most of my NARS purchases from Sephora to Nordstrom. I found a SA in Miami at the Aventura store that make it worth my while to shop at there instead. I really hope I can make that sort of connection again.

E! picked it up: http://www.eonline.com/news/685185/twitter-is-really-pissed-at-sephora-over-their-epic-rewards-day-find-out-why-it-became-an-epic-fail I still don't think that putting tweets under headlines is "news," but I guess E! isn't know for its news coverage, am I right? LOL
She obviously never met a Specktrette -especially when there is a new MAC launch.Oooh, this chick went there. I'm not even going to read the comments:
