cleansing oils work on every skin type

nothing breaks down makeup better than oil cleanser.

Lancome has amazing creme to oil - creme douceur

if you do not want oil but balm with the same idea - clinique take the day off balm '

mac has them too (haven't tried yet)

LOOOOOOVE Clinique's balm! Was curious about the S-R balm, but I'm so happy with the Clinique one and it's almost half the cost.

I know oils are supposed to be amazing, but I can't handle the way they feel on my face! And I can't stand the no water part of it either. Perhaps I need to try the Clinique balm!

It's great! You use like a nickel-sized amount or so. I usually dot it on each cheek and my forehead, then I massage it all over and into my skin (I'll be honest. It does still feel oily greasy nasty, but just think of it as a massage oil at that point.). Then, as I rinse with water, it becomes milky and easily washes away, no greasy feeling left...just clean, soft skin. I've used a pad covered in bioderma after before just to see if any residual makeup is left, and pretty much no (the only thing left sometimes is mascara if I didn't do a great job around my eyes, but that's more me/my technique than the product). Removes glitter. I'll say that again: Removes glitter.

I like it because no fragrance, and even though I now have combination, acne-prone skin (thanks childbirth!!!), it doesn't irritate me. If anything my skin is more clear when I use the balm regularly. I would recommend getting a sample if you can. I know it was a choice at one point during the sale. You could also get some in one of their sample tubs if your Sephora carries Clinique in-store.

Side note: Has Sephora stopped carrying Chanel?? After all this talk of men chasing people, I wanted to look into that fragrance, but got error messages. Then I tried to search for any Chanel and still got error messages.

Thank you! That's very helpful. I think Clinique had 20% off last year for Black Friday, so if I get a sample elsewhere, that should give me enough time to decide.

You might like Dermalogica's Precleanse as well. It has a nice light lemony scent to it.

Yarah was raving about the Sunday Riley Balm so I'm curious now, but it's permanent so I'm just going to go through my Tatcha and Boscia cleansing oils first.

well I follow with cleanser after the oil. oil on dry skin wash it off with water and then I do regular cleanser. So there is definitely water included.

Since everyone is talking about cleansing balms, yesterday i got a sample of the clinique cleansing balm while doing some shopping, i used it last night and i liked it very much, it felt my skin clean and non greasy, i like the fact that you can rinse it off instead of using a cotton pad and its not that expensive compared to others

Thanks! I like the oil idea. I use Josie Maran's Argan after cleansing at night.

Ha, yes, I know there's water at the end to rinse it off. I meant the actual part of the process with no water. I hate that. I'm just itching to add water the whole time. I'm hoping with a balm, I won't feel that desire as much.
