Oh, did any of you get the LM Candleglow Sheer Perfecting Powder? Do you like/love/hate? From people's hauls I've been watching (guilty pleasure) people seem to think they're very similar to the Hourglass powders but with a bit more pigment.

Funny you should mention this. I swatched this today at my local Sephora in #6 deep. I liked it. It's a smooth powder and has some noticable color to it. I wouldn't compare it to the Hourglass powders because on my complexion the Hourglass Powders were way more shimmery. I wouldn't call the LM ones a shimmery powder but more like a very subtle glow. I've added it to my loves list.

Lmao that was 100% me last month! I ended up finding another Mario palette during the sale so I gave one to my sister after all. I'm never usually swayed by the influencer hype but Mario and Huda are two names that get me opening my wallet. From what I hear, the Huda lipsticks have been getting a lot of returns, which is unfathomable to me because it's my favourite liquid lipstick formula so far (although I just received the Jouer holiday set which also gets good reviews! Can't wait to see how those stack up). Are the Huda sets all OOS on the US site now? The wait times for restocks on the line is atrocious.

Yeah, the Ulta sneak peaks didn't do much for me but they're apparantly also doing a pre-Black Friday sale this weekend so I'm eager to see what's on offer. I have to use a mail forwarder to ship most packages to Canada so I don't usually indulge unless the price is right or the item is extremely lust worthy. I'm sure Sephora will do me in, anyways lol.

Aand I'm right there with you about the Ultimate Glow Kit! My Becca Opal broke just before the sale so I wanted to get an ABH Glow Kit to replace it and I can't find the four pan palettes anywhere. I hope these come back in stock when we get the rewards cards in a few weeks, because I will be all over either That Glow or Sundipped.

I didn't know the Huda liquid lipsticks were getting a lot of returns. I like them.. they are so thin and liquidy. That's my favorite type of matte liquid lipstick, because they don't tend to clump up. I just checked and all three lip contour sets are still available on the US site.

I was going to get her eyeshadow palette, but I was able to swatch it in-store and I did not like the textures. It looked like a lot of fingers had been in them, so I asked the sales associate if that was the reason they felt so weird and she said no - they're just like that. I know that some people love that palette (and a lot dislike it), but it was just not for me.

RE: ABH Glow Kit - I have Gleam and Sun Dipped.. and Sun Dipped is my favorite! It is so good.. but any of the three are excellent..

I debated for a long time whether I needed a backup of the Mario palette. I decided that I did. Mainly because the shadows are so powdery that I already have significant dents in several shadows. I can see this getting used up pretty quickly.

Yup~ the only eyeshadow palette I have hit pan on a few shades in - is the Anastasia World Traveler Couture palette.. and I like the Mario 10x more than that one. My sis doesn't even know this palette exists, plus she gravitates more towards lighter shadows, so it is probably best that I don't give it to her anyway..

Hmmmm.... Sephora's BF makeup deals this year aren't sweeping me off my feet. It's mostly the hair care items I may be interested in.

They look pretty lame. Same with Ulta.. it is so disappointing this year!

Ok great! I was hoping for something less shimmery than the Hourglass ones. I have the #6 deep and the #5 medium to deep in my loves list.

Ah well! More money for other sales lol.

With all this talk of the ABH Master Palette by Mario, I didn't want to miss out so I had to go snag one up in-store since they're out of stock online. The shades are TOO GOOD.

So is the Mario palette gone for good? I see it is at a few Sephora's downtown, but Lord knows I don't want to go back downtown until May. #madhouse

I have the shade 5 and so far so good! If you're very oily, it's a tiny bit too luminous to replace a translucent setting powder (in my opinion) but it's a beautiful finishing powder. I've also swept it just across my cheeks after my whole face was done to do a final blend of my blush & highlighter, and it perfected everything. Much softer and more pigmented that the Hourglass powders.

I thought you liked it. What else do you like?

That's it honestly these days. The oil used to be FANTASTIC but they changed it. Now it's too heavy and goes rank pretty fast. It's not pure Ginseng the way it used to be. The eye cream is good, but certainly not worth the price. Dr. Goldfaden Energy Eye Cream gives the fastest results.

I do like the bb cushion during my paler months.

I have been wondering about the cushion. May need to add it to the list now.

The Hourglass powders were just too shimmery on my skin. Made me look a bit ashy at times. The LM powders felt more refined to me.

Yes ma'am! I agree. I understand the comparisons people made initially, but I think the powders serve 2 different purposes. And LM's shade range makes hers more universally flattering. I'm trying to use up Dim Light but it's too light to be a true highlight, and too shimmery to set my concealor.

Ditto on the Hourglass! I just recently purchased Radiant Light. I love it as a finishing powder, not a highlighter. And most definitely not under my eyes. Instead I use a colorless Mehron setting powder for my concealer.

They have some deals up - that are for Sephora APP only. The only thing that looks worthy of purchase is a duo of MUFE Aqua Matic eyeshadows for $15.

There are three different shade options.

I still think I am going to pass though.

Thanks for the eye cream rec. I bought it a while back and liked it but I have to save up to get it again.

Some of the Black Friday deals are up.. just a few of them. But the Purity Made Simple 12oz for $15 is already up.

PS~ GlamGlow is having buy one, get one free on their site with free shipping on any order and two free sample packets with the code: BOGO2016

(note: this does NOT work on the value sets, only on single items like the cleansers, masks, etc and you can not mix and match. You add your item to the cart - then add the code and it will add the second item onto your order.. MrRebates has 8% CB for GlamGlow too).

The $15 off for BI, VIB $20, VIB Rouge $25 cards are shipping out next week!

So far I'm thinking about MUFE Pro Infusion highlighter and some sheet masks.
