I'm so anxious to see what kind of deals sephora will have out for black friday this year, I was looking at the ones from last year and it seemed really good.


I wish for VIB rouge they gave you even just a little set of deluxe samples. Or maybe a mini Favorites kit featuring some of their most popular products. I mean, we spent 1000$ there after all.

I am 80 dollars away from Rouge, wondering if it's worth it to go for it for any other perk than the free shipping. I mean I'm sure I'll spend it before January, I'm sure I will be Rouge without meaning to be. It kinda just bums me out that Rouge doesn't have any real perks. :(

Kiki the last couple of years I've noticed the NARS blushes selling out like that. It's annoying, but you get why everyone would want a break where they could catch it. With the BeautyBlender I think the white one would be for those sensitive to dyes. I wouldn't want to use it, but my pink one bleeds when I clean it.

With Rouge I got the Bite VIB Rouge lipstick, a new red VIBR card, and an all access card to the Beauty Studio card. I wonder why they don't offer a discount like they do when you reach VIB? I'm really curious to see what they do with the Rouge program. It says you'll get special invites and free gifts, but I'm not sure if that's happened to date. Hopefully they step it up in 2014.

Anyone try the Laura Mercier Stickgloss collection? They seem to be sheer, kind of similar to a MAC lustre lipstick, no?

I checked my loves list first thing this morning and was SO disappointed! I was really hoping to grab it during the sale. Or even the gift card sale. I really hope it magically reappears! I'd much rather have the palette than singles. So much more convenient

I checked one store yesterday on a whim, and will call three today.

In other news, when I logged in to double check that I needed to spend 41 to get rouge (Down from 60 some).

Now when I log in it says I am rouge!! :) Go figure!

Do they give the welcome packs in store if you got to get them? :p

May get a makeover before the Christmas party.. make good use of my Rouge status.

The totes have a cute design, but I agree, I feel like if I actually try to use it, it will tear instantly.

I tried the Nest line of fragrances in the store. They only had a 5 bottle sample package. I really liked 2 of the fragrances. Anyone else sample NEST?

I was excited for NEST to arrive at Sephora! For some insane reason I love Amazon Lily (rec'd sample from Neiman Marcus this Spring) which smells like industrial cleaner. It's an oddball fragrance that my family doesn't like. I've decided not to purchase b/c my guy thinks it stinks and, well, who wants that? It lasts for hours and I can't resist smelling myself all day. Saturday I smelled several of the NEST scents and decided Passiflora was the most pleasant one for me and honey agreed. Midnight Fleur is the most popular of the scents and enjoyable as well.

The individual scents are only available online at the moment. I think I will be going back and this time paying attention to the name of the one that I like the most. lol

Thank you! I'm hoping to pick up the Icon mini in store soon to try them out. If I like it I want Canvas, Ballet, and Muse.

I forgot to mention how freaking beautiful the bottles are. So different than what's currently on the market.

Last week I picked up the Tocca Meet the Girls set. It's a great value b/c they have a sprayer (not rollerballs) and every Tocca scent I've smelled smells nice and pretty. I haven't run across one from them that was grown woman sexy (Cleopatra is a sexier one yet tame), but they're all inoffensive feminine scents that people around you will enjoy if that makes any sense. (I think I've smelled 6-7 of them over my time at Sephora.) Tocca is sold at Anthropologie, too, if that gives you any idea of the style. The gift set has an insert describing all of the fragrances and the type of "girl" each one is. Which Tocca girl are you?

So far Giulietta is my favorite, but I've yet to smell a bad Tocca fragrance. The line is often overlooked due to the style of the bottle being a bit old/dated looking. It just doesn't draw people in. However if you understand the Anthro aesthetic a bit the bottle styling makes sense. It's boho chic. The shape of the bottle is crafted after Cinderella's carriage; there's a romantic element to the design.

Omg, I tried the Shiseido facial cotton pads and they are as wonderful as everyone says. I was sure I wouldn't notice a difference b/c I'm happy with what I currently use and hey, how much more luxurious can cotton wipes be, right? Wrong. Uh-mazing.
