I'm wearing Bronze Ambition today and it's fantastic. Pigmented, blended like a dream. The colors are dupable (these days most colors are especially with all the warm palattes) but you can't dupe quality. These are worth every penny.

In looking at some reviews on You Tube, a few people pointed out how the amount of shadow (number of grams) is only slightly less than the full size palettes. Leads me to believe, a lot of that $$ is going towards packaging.

For sure. Her packaging is luxurious and sturdy, and I would have paid more for these palettes to have better packaging. That hair elastic closure is going to snap in no time and drive me bonkers.

Yes. And I feel like they knew that and that’s the reason the magnet is pretty strong to hold the flap down. So I don’t understand what the deal is with that closure. Oh well. I love the palette.

Sephora is so lame...I got 2 separate orders today & none of the 5 samples I added were in my orders. Ugh! And, the samples are still available on the site. I called CS & ranted lol. He said there was no excuse for it & he has had many similar complaints. My warehouse is the issue ...again. It figures, the first time they have some decent samples & I don't even receive them.:shakehead:

I never get my samples from them either. It’s a joke.

I thought I was the only one that noticed the magnet closure was super firm. I think the little closure is just her signature thing thats why she still used it.

I'm trying to talk myself out of the Platinum bronze palette.

Strong magnet or no, these shadows deserve better packaging. (Where's the "throwing a toddler tantrum" emoji?) :p

So I might be late on the Hourglass stick highlighters, but I tried the Pink with a bit of the Champagne today over the YSL glow, using them like a blush but very blended out & they were the prettiest glowy natural slight blush look. I loved it. Does anyone love the Rose shade? I'm thinking that shade would be beautiful used the same way.

So how did y'all who tried Platinum Bronze today like it?

Personally I found Platinum bronze quite muddy on the eyes. There is not a lot of color differentation between some of the shadows once applied. It is great for a sexy, smokey kind of eye if that is what you are looking for.

It’s my least favorite of the 3. The quality is just as good as the other two, it’s just that I don’t typically wear cooler tones on my eyes. I’m keeping because it will add some variety to my eyeshadow collection.

I almost bought the bronze ambition palette today but I showed some restraint. It was right next to the anastasia soft glam palette and swatching them together made it really clear I don't need both. Though to be clear the pm formula kicks anastasia's to the curb any day. I love my platinum bronze and I haven't had issues with it being muddy. Funnily enough I had that issue using the soft glam palette the first time. I think that super silky formula makes it so that I have to go in with clean brushes for blending as opposed to just using a brush I used just a step earlier. That's what I did for the pm palette, too.

IDK what it is but I love cooler tones on my eyes. I can't be without taupes and dirty purples. I think it's a preference but maybe me just staying the hell away from what any mua tried to throw at me when I first got into makeup.

Shontay!!! I'm so happy you're here :icon_cheers: I got the Velour eyelash kit on Sephora & I really love the smaller eyelashes as they fit my eyes & the lashes in it are perfect for everyday. But, omgosh you should have seen me trying to put them on today :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::help:like how do I close my eye & see where I'm putting the lashes LOL! I finally got them on but then there was a gap between my lash line & the lashes band. So, I too it back off and placed it better on my lashes but then the tape or dried glue was poking the inner corner of my eye ouch :rofl:Maybe I needed to move it more to the outer corner. I do love how they look on :p Any suggestions?

I do too! I know that the palette has blended into itself on some people, but the colors all remain individual on my eyelid (thankfully!). Tom Ford Nude Dip is another story. That is one muddy mess on me.

That's good to know. They're my kind of shades. Thanks for the great swatches!

LOL! Oh, I definitely had many days in the beginning when my lashes were killing the inner part of my eye. I use tweezers to apply them because it was never gonna happen with my fingers. First I get the lashes centered on my eye and then I connect the outer part and by time I bring it down on the inside the length works out. Some people tilt their head up to apply and that helps them see but I need to tilt my head down slightly and that's easier for me to see what I'm doing. You really just have to play around and see what works. I'm so glad you're trying, though! :twirl:

:p Good info Sis! It makes sense to center them first. Why didn't I think of that!:hmm: Thanks! I was trying to hurry up & put them on in 5 minutes before we went out for lunch. Bad idea so I took them off so one didn't pop off & go into my soup lol.
