That is THE only DE product I own & it makes my skin baby butt soft :)
Not sure how it happened but, with the exception of tretinoin lotion, all my skincare is DE. My skin has never looked better. I’ve also been getting more frequent facials and IPL treatments so I’m sure that has something to do with it. About the only DE products that I tried and didn’t like are the lip balm and the eye treatment (the older one).

I purchased the new MUFE velvet foundation - it's really beautiful. matte but natural more like satin, feels like nothing on skin, so airy and nice buildable coverage. I would say medium but possible to build to full. It does not enhance my dryness at al - mind that my skin is normal to dry and i never go for matte foundation. this is for example less drying than the new dior backstage one (go figure).
I wear mufe ultra hd y235 during winter and y245 during summer and i felt shades in the velvet are identical to the ultra hd BUT... they come out of the tube somewhat lighter then how they look when they set. So be careful when trying the shades. I had to buy both 235 and 245 and I mix them. I got a bit of a tan but I am still in between those two shades. 235 will be perfect for winter.

:tee: Great minds...I actually toodled into Sephora & SiJCP yesterday to get samples of the new BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector. They released a med - dark shade better suited for me. AND to get samples of the new MUFE Mat Velvet. I always get samples from both stores because I like doubling up ;) And sometimes one artist matches me better than another.

Left Y445, Y425 & ELDW 4W2 Toasty Toffee (all mostly dried down) / Right Y445 & Y425 (freshly swatched)

As the swatches dried down, they darkened. So while the Y425 initially looked light, it was a super close match to my ELDW.
Y445 is too dark for me.

I wore Y425 last night and loved it. I applied with a damp blender sponge.
Just like @Monsy says, lightweight, skin like, buildable and super nice finish. I am going to wear it during the work week, to test for oxidation and wear.

Has anyone tried both amore pacific enzyme peel and babyfacial for comparison?
I use to use the Amore pacific enzyme peel, it was okay but not worth the price to me. So I returned it and although I haven't used babyfacial, I recommend it over Amore Pacific.

I share your sentiments, after I started adding DE products to my routine I noticed a difference in my skin right away. When I got my last facial, the facialist kept commenting how great my skin is and thats when I started looking into more of the DE products.

The verdict is still out on the eye serum since I've only been using it a short time and it takes a little time to fully see the effects of eye products but I'm liking it enough already to not return it yet. The C-serum is nice, its very concentrated and pure so if you want authentic vitamin C the DE one is the one. With the ol herikenson C-serum it was okay but it wasn't concentrated enough and didn't easily absorb. The DE C-serum soaks right on and it pairs very nicely with the moisturizer and I feel like the C-serum makes the moisturizer work better even though it was good before I added the C-serum to my routine. The B-hydra serum I only use at night and I'm liking it so far, especially since I can use it alone and I don't have to use a moisturizer with it as I prefer to only use serums for my night time routine.

I do love amore pacific one. Simply that brand works wonders for me. I was just curious if babyfacial is even better

@MaryJane

glad that it’s working for you. In the morning, I mix the C Firma with the B hydra and then apply it. Usually follow it with Protini. In the PM, I use the Framboos mixed with Marula oil.

This is what I do except in the evening I use Lala + B Hydra. My rosacea hates anything with AHA/BHA so I haven't tried any of those products. Although I admit being tempted to try Babyfacial I'm saving myself for her retinol that's coming out in January!

The softness is a bonus for me. My skin is much more temperamental & acne prone now in my mid 50s than when I was a teen. I use this all over my face about once a week but more often my t-zone or nose & chin. My wacky hormones are hellacious on my skin. Since I've been using Babyfacial my skin is calmer & big reductions in breakouts. My pores are much less congested. With my oily t-zone that has always been an issue. On nights I don't use this I use Skinmedica's 1.0 Retinol or in the morning. I was about to run out & had a return at Sephora so I went ahead & picked up 2. You know how we are here with backups :)
I don't know if you do this or even want to fool with it. Good skincare products can add up quickly so I try to get as much product out as I can before I toss it. Here's what I do:

I unscrew the pump, sometimes it takes a bit of pressure to get it off. Then I take a wooden shrimp skewer, which I use these for tons of stuff, probably more than their intended purpose. Anyway I stick the flat end inside & get some out then screw it back on & put the lid on so the product stays intact. I can usually get 3-5 more treatments before it bites the dust. If I'm using only on my t-zone or nose & chin I get more.

You always have good AND fun info my dear :) I know nothing about backups :shakehead::rotfl:You're so thrifty. I'll have to try your good to the last drop trick!

Good to know. I guess I should try a couple more DE products. I just got a large sample size of the Youth to the people deep moisturizer & it's really nice. It makes my skin very soft & I love how it soaks right into the skin & you don't even feel it.

Well you know I used to use a lot from that brand & I too liked their peel, but I feel like my skin gets better results & much smoother from the DE.

I like the C Firma but depending on what mood my skin is I switch out between it & Paula's Choice Vit C. The C Firma is a little bit more emollient so I use it when I need a bit more moisture & the PC when more oily.

I want to try the Potent C by Peter Thomas Roth. It has 20% vitamin c instead of 15%. It's suppose to be excellent as it also has a good amount of ferulic acid as well as many other beneficial ingredients. It does cost a bit more at $95. Right now online there is a set that has the full sz Potent C, a 4.2 oz anti-aging cleanser, peel, & moisturizer. I'm sure the last 2 are probably deluxe sample size. I'm going off memory. The set is the same price ($95) as just the Potent C. I don't remember if it is online only but my 2 stores do not have the set. I wish I had known about this product when the Rouge sale was going on.

I really like the B Hydra & Framboos also. The Marula oil that comes with the Babyfacial I use around my eyes & mix a couple of drops with my moisturizer on my neck & chest. No way I could use it on my face. I would be covered in breakouts. I can see dryer skin loving it as it's so soft & soothing.

So what DE product do I NEED next? :p
I'm not sure if it's still available but they have a set called 'The Littles' that gives a few weeks worth of several of their products. That's how I got sucked in. The sizes look small but the marula oil in the set lasted for months.

Oh yeah I forgot about those sets, good idea. I tried everything 1 by 1 as I don't really start looking for new skin care unless I become unsatisfied with a product I'm already using. So I start researching to see what products I can potentially replace it with and being that my skin is so picky, I try to stick with products after I see they work for me.
