no, you are not alone. I thought it was ok...nothing different than any cleansing water I have bought from a drugstore.

In all fairness to Sephora: at my local event, I did see people buying sets of 8 of naked basics 1 and 2, naked palettes. While they could have been for family and friends, I'm guessing they were resellers.
