I know this sounds bad, but I splurged on this brush--- and I'm scared to use it! It's so beautiful, soft, and most importantly pristine white!! I don't know what I was thinking investing in an expensive white brush that I'm worried about staining/ruining.Ugh don't tempt me Meddy. That's the brush of my dreams
Good to know Yazmin. Thanks for sharing this.4. Finishing spray, pressed (not sprayed) over powder with makeup sponge
LOL that's what I thought to myself, too....
...and then I ordered 4.
I understand that one. I still have my white Chanel twist up kabuki brush untouched & its been a year I think lolI know this sounds bad, but I splurged on this brush--- and I'm scared to use it! OMG Sis---I think we've had those Chanel Retractable Kabuki brushes for nearly two years. I think I used mine once!!! It's too pretty!!!I understand that one. I still have my white Chanel twist up kabuki brush untouched & its been a year I think lol
Yea their shade range SUCKS! I just tried on what I thought was a match...too light...the next shade is too dark ...however, I LOVE the way it feels!!! Too bad, I'm returning it. It's too expensive to keep it and not love it!NOPE, I hate dior now. Ok, I really don't but their two new foundations did not have a match for me. I'm in btwn honey and whatever the one after that is.
I'm telling you Pretty, this brush works w/every blush and it's a work-horse of a blender. It's just AMAZING!Oh cool, I'm going to try this.
Do you or did he have a fave setting powder?
NOPE, I hate dior now. Ok, I really don't but their two new foundations did not have a match for me. I'm in btwn honey and whatever the one after that is.
Oh geez Meddy. LOL I was thinking before I buy TF brushes, I'd just buy Hakuhodo brushes.
LMAO
I'd be interested in seeing how it works for you. @Prettypackages, KJB normally recommends RCMA No-Color Powder, but any translucent powder should do. I've got plenty of the RCMA so if you want a sample, let me know. Good to know Yazmin. Thanks for sharing this. :happydance: I think I'll try it soon.I know Wayne Goss would say to apply eye cream as much as possible to plump up the skin under the eye. I've also tried out a technique I learned recently from Kevin James Bennett which held up well during a night out in Vegas last weekend. I have yet to try it for an average work day, but hope to do so soon. No-Crease Concealer Tip 1. Finishing spray on bare skin or over primer 2. Concealer, blended with a brush lightly misted with finishing spray 3. No-color setting powder over entire area 4. Finishing spray, pressed (not sprayed) over powder with makeup sponge
The way I got around this issue was to buy OTHER TF brushes. So I didn't feel bad using the blush brush if I kept the bronzer brush pristine!I know this sounds bad, but I splurged on this brush--- and I'm scared to use it! It's so beautiful, soft, and most importantly pristine white!! I don't know what I was thinking investing in an expensive white brush that I'm worried about staining/ruining.Ugh don't tempt me Meddy. you guys have. it came out with the les beiges. LOLOMG Sis---I think we've had those Chanel Retractable Kabuki brushes for nearly two years. I think I used mine once!!! It's too pretty!!!
Yes please that would be awesome!I've got plenty of the RCMA so if you want a sample, let me know.
Have you tried the MUFE Mist & Fix? Perhaps using that with a new primer would work? I have yet to find a primer that is good with my super oily skin. I'm thinking of trying the Embryolisse Hydra-Mat Emulsion next. That stinks! What did you like about it? What other primers have you tried?
I loved that I couldn't really feel it when I put it on. It also was a workhorse at least for me. It would keep my foundation from moving even in this Miami heat. I've tried Smashbox but I don't recall how I feel about it. I was just going through my sample box looking for deluxe samples to take for travel and I have a LM one in there. Anyone try the Nars one?

:haha: I don't mind them getting dirty. I'm good about cleaning my brushes. Its just the money. The way I got around this issue was to buy OTHER TF brushes. So I didn't feel bad using the blush brush if I kept the bronzer brush pristine! :sigh:
