I got part 1 of my sale haul on Thursday and got a chance to play around with it.
The
Electric palette is lovely! The colors are so buttery and pigmented. I'm really glad I picked it up, even paired with neutrals, adding one or two of the colors from the Electric palette is a nice pop, so it's more versatile than I originally anticipated.
My
Buxom Jill lipgloss is awesome
I have to re-adjust myself with Buxom lipglosses, I forgot how tingly they are. I had Trixie at one point and used it all up (so I obviously liked it lol), but haven't purchased any Buxom for at least a couple of years. The price is just so unffff, especially given how quickly Trixie got used up.
NARS Custard radiant creamy concealer is pretty much the same as NW20 PLW concealer in terms of color, except PLW concealer is maybe a hair more yellow. Still, I was glad I picked a good color match since I just purchased the NARS concealer online, and it blends so easily, without getting cakey, and stays pretty well throughout the day.
The
UD Perversion angled liner brush is so nice! I'm really glad UD revamped their brushes. I'm just using it with the Anastasia dipbrow Pomade, since it does seem a little large to use with eyeliner, and it fits the bill.
I also got the
Shiseido oil-free bronzer in Dawn Light. I ended up driving it to a local Sephora because it pulled pretty yellow on my skin. I tried it on my face and yeap, it didn't really do a thing for me. I'll just stick with Too Faced Chocolate Soleil and Milk Chocolate Soleil as my go-tos.
I exchanged it for
YSL Volupte Shine 12 Corail Incandescent. The shine is such a nice formula and this is my first time trying them out. It wears well throughout the day and it's such a great spring color. I swatched all the shines my store carried to pick out a color that was least like what I currently own.
I also have
YSL Rose Culte and
Hourglass Radiant Magenta arriving Tuesday
My Sephora doesn't carry Rose Culte in store, but I swatched Radiant Magenta and it was a good choice.
