Melted Ruby is calling my name. I swatched it yesterday around  3pm and after midnight there was still staining on my hand. I wash my hands a lot at work, so the potential is there.
It's. so. nice. I'm picky with my reds now because I have too many, but it's definitely worth it.

So did I. I need rehab. Which one did you get?

I wanted the black one, but its sold out so I got Brown Out which I'm hoping is darker than the bronze one. No stores had it, so no one could tell me about the shade.

Which shade did you get?

I was that girl in High School that wouldn't be caught dead in red. Now I know what shade of red works for me. Deeper bluer reds are my thing. I think I'm going to order Melted Ruby from Too Faced to get that 20% off that thefancyfaced was talking about.

The new shade of purple. Plum (Age). Again me and the purples.

Just swatched my Too Faced Pretty Rebel & Chocolate Bar Palette's.

I'm unbelievably impressed. I've never tried Too Faced products before other than one of their La Creme Lipsticks (Loganberry). The shadows are beautiful. Soft, smooth, pigmented. Really happy with them.
I agree, I really love the chocolate palette
I'd never found any of their regular palettes appealing to me, they all looked pretty much the same. I'm happy with these though and it might make me venture into more Too Faced products eventually!

And I would've been the girl screaming at you! I literally want to beat up my one friend who doesn't think she can wear red. She's dark skinned and I've beaten her down so much that she does sheer reds. It's only a matter of time before I get her wearing Ruby Woo or something. Colorful makeup was made for us.

Honestly, as much as I love being pale over the normal "tan", I'd love such a beautiful skin tone as your guys'. While yes, sheerer products may be a bit difficult - I'm so jealous of your ability to wear really pigmented things without worrying you're going to look like a damn clown. Blushes, for instance - they terrify me. I love them and use them, but I'm very careful to try and not buy extremely pigmented blushes so I don't have to worry about clownface.

I agree though - EVERYONE can wear red, they just need to find THEIR red.

I also didn't wear lipstick in general. I only wore gloss. I did NOTHING with my brows. Not even wax or thread for shape. And blush? what was that? At least my nails were done.

Ha! Well, I can't say much when I think of it because I was a tomboy until I was about 22. The only thing girly about me was my hair. It was always done. I was uncomfortable with my body and hid it in baggy clothes. When I finally snapped out of it and jumped into girly clothes and makeup I went all out. It was red lipstick and short skirts!

I think clown face is concern for everyone. The grass is always greener on the other side. I'm always envious of the paler set being able to wear those soft baby pink lips. Hell, even women of color like my friend who have really light lips can pull it off. On me it's a chalky, cracked out mess. Pale pinks, light lavenders are all lost on me, but I love them so much. Ah, well. :sigh:

Are you my twin? I can honestly say I had a similar experience. My major tomboy layover is I'm still a gamer. I'm just well made up one. lol

Sister from another mister. I used to be a gamer, too. I'm still a sports junkie, so my tomboyish ways aren't completely gone.

Here are those Bite Beauty Cashmere Lip Creme Swatches I promised. Excuse my rather large bare feet. (l-r) Bordeaux, Burgandy, Port and Sancere. I forgot to mention I got Port too.

Funnily enough - I can't stand those really pale baby pinks. Even on me I look dead. Can't cope, no bueno! Lol.
