Not the best pix (sorry) so this is 002 Dawn. Its a peachy-gold colour.

For reference, I ama NC47. When I initially swatched it, I thought it was going to be too light but when I put it on, it melted into my skin. i was quite impressed.

This won't be a blinding highlight but it you want something natural then this is for you. I do like it a lot and think i may purchase the rose-gold one.

I went to Sephora this morning and got 2 of the new Bite liquid lipsticks. This one is a winner and it's making me feel better about the Nars disappointment. I got two colors b/c I couldn't choose between them: Demi-Glace and Puree. Candied was really the only one I wanted, but some shades aren't in store yet. I tested both and I know they won't turn on me b/c they don't dry down. They're like a gloss, but not sticky at all. They feel buttery and moisturizing just like you'd expect a Bite product to be. Also, it's fully pigmented in one swipe. Vampy shades aren't my thing these days, but I might get one of the darker shades b/c they are beautiful. It pains me a bit not to have a lip stain, but I can deal with that.

I might be doomed. I'm not a fan of liquid lipsticks because I generally find them drying, but this makes these ones sound tempting. (Even more so because I am definitely a vampy lip fan.)

Nordies was super crazy not only bc of the early access but also bc the 10x point deal. Don't know if the point promo is still going on today. There were some very rabid Nordies card holders at the mall yesterday.

LOL! I was just wondering how many of those rapid purchases are going to end up being returns. The sale is just average this year. Sometimes I feel like the quality isn't there with the clothing they promote. Last year, I purchased a knit UGG cardigan and it had a huge hole in it when I unpackaged it. Even the stitching wasn't good on it. The boots were also horrible to say the least. I tried to be really picky this year and stay away from clothing for myself.

I liked the sale in years past because they would release fall makeup launches early for the sale. Mac would have a special collection, not just the sets. Not anymore.

Yep, Chanel used to throw us a bone by including an Asian exclusive in the Nordies sale.

Yes. Quite a few brands I think. I remember running to Nordies to get the Estee Lauder fall collection, Cyber Punk I think it was called. Now the event doesn't seem all that special. I still haven't made my way over there yet. I may not at all.

Ugh, they didn't have them. It's so frustrating because we have to drive an hour 15min. to either of our Sephoras & they never have anything. I need to see them in person.

I was super happy about it too because I can't take the crowds lol. For the first time, I ordered online & picked up my items in the store. They were not allowed to hold anything. So I did get the 10 points. I spent most of my time & $$$ in Anthropologie before we got to Nordies

I LOVE Anthropologie too! It's way too easy to drop a lot of money there lol!

DH willingly was on at home kid duty, so I was able to shop by myself. I did pick up the TF set, CT products and some other sets for gifts. Anthropologie is great!

I have ordered several of the new bite lippies. So far I have received whip and cava. Chutney is coming tomorrow.

I have worn whip and really like the formula. 100% agree with Shontay.
