Annoyances.

I made this list of pet peeves/annoyances long time ago. I'm copying &pasting from my blog. Hope it makes sense.
  • People who correct other people's grammar incorrectly
  • People who eat something, like chips, and don't take the time to close it back up properly
  • People who don't take off their shoes when they come into my apartment [especially when you KNOW it bothers me...]
  • People who leave on lights or leave water running when it's not needed (like while brushing their teeth or when in another room entirely)
  • People who say "supposeably" instead of "supposedly" or "should of" instead of "should have" ....(not to mention "Y-O-U-'-R-E" meaning "you are"... haha..."you fell asleep??!!" uhhh dorky Friends reference)
  • People who dog ear books [it makes me cringe]
  • People who have a jar of pens, tries to use one and sees that it doesn't work, puts the pen back in the jar and repeats until they find a working pen.... IT DOESN'T WORK; YOU HAVE 5 BAJILLION pens...CHUCK the old one!
  • People who talk in circles and then forget what they were trying to say [&similarly, people who don't think before they speak]
  • People who say, "I'm sorry" or "my bad" or something like it, but continue doing the same behavior and apologizing (like if you're playing tennis and the person keeps missing the ball and saying "my bad," but they always miss it and then you tell them to stop saying "my bad" but the next time the miss the ball they say, "My bad....oh..." and then they say "my bad" for saying "my bad" again...)
  • People who don't use their turn signals (&I don't even drive!)
  • Grocery store self check out lines [if i wanted to check myself out I'd use a mirror!] not to mention that technology hates me...and people who pay for their groceries with CHECKS...I mean seriously!!
  • People who have freakin` family reunions in the middle of the grocery aisle... or stand in the middle of any aisle and are oblivious to any people trying to get past... I have places to go!
  • People who hassle you when it's your turn in something (like a card game) but when it's they're turn, they're not ready. When all the time they were hassling you, they could've been planing their move instead of being a jerk
  • People whose hair is everywhere... on their clothes, in the drain, on their brushes, on the toilet.... *gag*
  • Congested people who refuse to blow their nose and are sniffling every five seconds

There are a lot more, but I have laundry to sort. Maybe this will be a long chain of people inspired to jot down some of their pet peeves.....

AHHH I JUST THOUGHT OF ANOTHER ONE BECAUSE SOMEONE JUST DID IT.....

  • When people say something like "3am in the morning"

Argh when people leave the lights on/water running, it's SO annoying!! can't you turn the light back OFF or something?

People that cough/sneeze and don't cover their nose/mouth so all their disgusting lil germs get all over me, enter my body and infect me with a disgusting cold. urgh.

Narrow-minded people.

When grammar is used incorrectly, for example someone above mentioned "should of" instead of "should have" - soo annoying and i hear it/read it ALL THE TIME.

People who fish around for compliments, for instance when someone knows they can do something well but they're all like, "I can't do that!" (when they blatantly can; they're just saying it so you compliment them and tell them otherwise...)

This is only 'cause i'm doing it now in preparation for my exams but: shading inequalities, and i mean the hard ones like 'y<-4-x' How in hell am i meant to do that?? They annoy me lol.

People who take themselves too seriously and are scared to let their hair down.

People who tell you to act your age.

Messy rooms.

Coppers annoy me lol. (As in 1p and 2p coins not policemen)

Not being able to find my remote - it's been missing for a month!

Fake people.

Secrets.

TASTELESS, PLAIN FOOD.

Breaking things, losing things, staining nice tops etc...

Waiting.

Being broke.

Bitchy/rude people.

Hairs. (as in body/facial hair) WHY MUST YOU EXIST? WHY?

I'm sure there are more but i'm meant to be revising right now lol

My co-workers. Period.

Learn what personal space means please. Do not reach over my head for a file, because knowing you, you will drop it on me and I will have to pop you one. Wait the 5 seconds until I am done and then do it. Also, because you do not want to learn how to change the paper in the printer, stop asking me to do it, I mean really. Oh and the most annoying, if you are on a personal call and a business call is for you, do not tell me to take a message while you chat about American Idol or Dancing with the Stars, I am not your secretary.

Blah.

Barking dogs - I'm not a fan of dogs
Any loud noises/confrontation - I lived with a single mom who never HAD to yell at me loudly so loud noise tends to startle me...unless it's party music! w00t!
Bad (SLOW) drivers - Also, people who leave their turn signal on! OMG!
Burping, farting, etc. - ie People without manners.
Injustice

Inconsiderate and UNRELIABLE people - It's just so disrespectful and selfish.
Dirty makeup brushes - :p
My black pants - They are LINT MAGNETS! Argh!
People who wear too tight of clothes - Real muffins are the only yummy kind.
My car - It's a POS pontiac sunfire.
Aeropostale - I just feel it's a "wannabee" status of A&F/AE/etc
Losing at bingo -

It took me a while to complete this list. I don't get annoyed by people very easily and I'm also not one to complain! I'd rather 'waste' my time having fun and enjoying life...;o)

People I give way to on my drive to work, who then drive past staring straight ahead and don't acknowledge the fact that I've been sitting there for the past 45 seconds while they cruise their way down the road towards me at 15mph. I've lost count of the times this week I have screamed "YOU'RE WELCOME!!!" at someone through my closed window (hoping they will see me....they never do

oh yeh it pisses me off when people leave their indicator on when driving especially going around roundabouts.... last week i walked home from college with my bf and we were stood in the middle of one of them island things waiting to cross the next part of the road and about 6 people didnt indicate and we almost got ran over... its funny when you give them the evil look and shout "INDICATE" they clearly know what you are saying and they drive off looking embarrased, if you cant indicate why the HELL are you driving? and how the hell did you pass your driving test?

or when people think you arent there and dont indicate... what if i was about to cross the road and they didnt see me? this happened when i was a kid, my mum walked me home from school i was about 8 at the time and this guy was backing out from his drive-way and i stopped but he thought i was gna keep goin so he stopped then i started walking then he started driving again and almost hit me!!!
i dont have a car yet but i passed my test, i dont know how people cant forget to indicate it only takes 2 seconds to lift your damn hand to move it... maybe these people are THAT lazy?

Yes that too! Is it me or are drivers getting more and more rude?

Another one...people that are parked and see you coming but open their doors and get out anyway, then leave the door wide open whilst they rummage around on the car floor for their stuff, then when they finally shut the door, give you a filthy look and glue themselves to the side of the car as if you're about to mow them down.

Yes, people act as if when they are in their car they're in their own little world and no one else is of consequence to them. Frankly, I find it quite dangerous and I worry about my own safety every time I'm on the road.

Yes there's always at least one person halfway across my side of the road when taking a corner, or talking on their phone with it held up to their ear, or something else equally dangerous on my drive to work every day. It's only 10 miles and is through a lot of twisting back roads in the middle of nowhere - thank god I don't have to go up the motorway every day, who knows what I would see then.

and why are the ones who drive the most dangerously, cut people up on roundabouts, remain oblivious to all other drivers...the ones with the 'baby on board' sticker on the back. If I was driving with a child in the car I'd pay a hell of a lot more attention to the road and other users.

Another thing that drives me crazy (and I didn't realise I had this much road rage in me, or that my drive to work was this stressful lol) are people that do 40mph all the way in a 60 zone...but then when we get to a populated area and the limit is 30, carry on doing 40 all the way through it?!

I think I better go to bed before my head explodes

Arg that's stupid, if they're still learning aren't they bound to make mistakes. I'm in my 3rd year of uni studying biological science and I still make mistakes. It's definitely not your fault.

The thing that annoys me is all they're learning is that if they complain to my boss, she yells at me, and they get their way. What scares me is that they're not learning a thought process or that details matter; they're premeds, those details could be life or death. I know I sound dramatic, but when people are so careless about writing a unit on a number, it does scare me greatly. There's a huge difference between 5 mg and 5 g.

The whole welfare system, if implemented right, is really helpful for some people. My uncle was on it and got himself off it when he was able to work again. My friend's mother needs it (she has a lot of health problems). The problem is that people are very clever (at least to me, because I don't think like that) about cheating the system and then they raise their children like it's a way of life, like working a 9-5, and their children don't get a sense of pride in themselves to remove themselves from the welfare system. It's that sense of entitlement, again.

I'm so lucky I don't drive, I'd have such bad road rage. People are so inconsiderate sometimes.

OMG I have a 'friend' whose like that, he used to always hit on me and he knew it made me uncomfortable. He'd always say sorry but 5mins later he's be treating me the same way again.

I went home for easter and it's an effort just to get to the bus stop. I have to walk 10mins to the bus stop. bus to the train station, train to the city and then a 2hr train.
I'm 5'3 carrying a 4kg laptop, a heavy backpack and a handbag, not once did anybody offer to help me. I was seriously struggling and nobody cared. To make me more anger I saw this older lady trying to get on a train who was obviously struggling and nobody helped her either (I would have but I could barely walk myself). What has happened to people?

People who don't appreciate what they have. You may not always have that roof over your head or food in your cupboard.

People who go through life with blinders on.

People who take things for granted.

Rudeness

Selfishness

Sympathy.

People who break into my house.

People who stop asking questions

There is loads more but it would get depressing and it would remind me of how bitter and cynical I've become lol.

I thought of another one, people who are cruel to animals. Everytime I hear a story about it I always end up crying. I dont know how people can be cruel to animals.

When someone I don't know hurts me by "accident" in public (steps on your toes, hits me with their elbow, etc etc) and can't apologize or anything. Or just plain rude people.

Omg, that happened to me once! I was out walking with my bf and this mom with her stroller just totally ran into me from behind and I fell down and hurt my foot really bad. And she yelled "watch where you're going!" when she was the one walking behind me, and it wasn't even a crowded street... What a bitch, It was like she was doing it on purpose because she obviously has the right to do anything she wants just because she has a kid, Haha.
