Thanks so much for doing this!! My question is Since shadsticks are discontinued (im still bitter lol) and paints are slowing being phased out (even more bitter lol) will there be a new product coming in as a base or will paint pots and ccb be it for us?

Right now Paint Pots, and Cream Colour Bases are the favorite product to be used as eyeshadow bases. There aren't many shades left in the Paints and Shadesticks lines, but there may still be hope for the Shadesticks since two (Sharkskin and Penny) are being repromoted with Nordstrom's Gold Fever events.

Here are my questions and answers I got at Update:

Will Volcanic Ash be made permanent?
No. MAC received lots of comments and requests for it being permanent but unfortunately there aren't enough resources to make this product permanent. No plans on repromoting any time soon either.

Will Dazzleglass be made permanent?
Yes. Dazzleglass will be made permanent in 2009. There is no news of axing any of the current choices or adding any new colors.

Will Tendertones be made permanent?
No. Right now Tendertones is an early summer annual collection, similar to liquid glitter liners being released every holiday season.

Are the Mineralize Eyeshadows being repromoted with the Mineralize expansion be permanent?
No. I was told by my trainers that new (probably different repromotes from past collections) Mineralize Eyeshadows will replace the "current" ones every once and a while. I could not confirm if they will be seasonal, every few weeks, or what. They said that the Mineralize Blushes on the Mineralize unit may be rotating (changing every once and a while) as well but they were not sure.

Until when will Viva Glam VI Special Edition be available?
For now, until it sells out. But my trainer confirmed that it will be repromoted with Fergie again in Spring 2009.

Are SheerSheen Loose face powders eye safe?
No. They told me that the section in the Update book saying that they are eyesafe was incorrect and they should not be worn on the eyes, only the face.

[Most] of Overrich Pigments to become permanent at MAC Pro?
Yes. Check the Overrich collection thread for more details.

ccbs will probably be fazed out, or just kept as PRO only. so far it'll be just paint pots, along with the paints and shadesticks that will stay (not all are being DC'd).

i was told at holiday time for the dazzleglasses and our update book says that the 3 antiquitease/3 a muse MES will be perm. hmmm...

What is meant by "current choices"? Were these all of those in the original collection, or just some of them?
