im not asian, but i know there are some purples that make me look like i just got punched :/ i don't know if you do this, but be careful applying pink or purple to the lower lid, esp. pink, as it can make you look like you've been crying.. it can be done, just be careful. never works for me, haha. also, i might try a really simple look with pink. like a really natural/nude with a beige/peachy color and just a swipe of pink on the inner corner to the crease and blended really well. pink can get really overwhelming!

I found that reds with bluish undertone (cool reds) and mauvey pinks works best for my nc15 yellow toned skin. Generally I stay away from colors like orange, pure peach (though rosy peach is ok), reds with orange undertones (warm reds), yellowy browns etc.
