Beijing Olympics 2008: Who believes China's gynastics team is all over 16 y.o.?

The reason why it's not fair to have a 13 year competing against a 16 year old is because a 13 year olds body is more nimble. Of course it's going to be easier for them to tumble and flip. Back in 1976 the big winner later revealed that she was only 14 when she went into the competition. I would feel bad stripping them of the medal, but at the same time the people who put those girls into it should not get away with it. It should be considered child abuse.

You guys should see some of the girls who went to high school with me in Korea, though. I've seen tons of girls who looked like they were barely out of elementary school. I'm willing to give them a benefit of the doubt before solid evidence comes out.

Yet, I must admit, seeing those little girls in those sparkly leotards and eyeshadow makes me feel like I'm watching a little miss beauty pageant.

we played the game according to the rules of the CIO, that's good enough for me, I don't want to worry about the Chinese, that's their freaking problem.

anyway, Nastia Liukin & Shawn Johnson (in the pic above) won Gold/silver Medals for Women's ALL-AROUND QUALIFICATION in Gymnastics, with the Chinese getting the Bronze ... I rest my case ladies ...

I didn't watch the gymnastics but the evidence of all the previously released press documents saying she was 14 do point to the allegation that her passport was falsified. Knowing the rampant corruption in China, this isn't entirely hard to swallow.

I still have quite a few of my baby teeth and I'm 16. I'm pretty sure I only ever lost 8-10 baby teeth.
