Is the CG like KVD Lock It Foundation??? That one never looks natural under any circumstances haha

You know what? This is a good comparison. For me, I can work with the KvD Lock It a little more. I can work it with the beauty blender and make it more smooth, less cakey. I get cakey in a few hours with the CG, regardless of what I have set it with or touched up with, or even if I have just blotted and not powdered.

Gotcha! I'll stay away haha! I don't mind the KVD but I couldn't find my match, one was too yellow, another too pink and the last one was too red!!! I gave up finally

Went to Duane Reade because they have BOGO Revlon and CG. The CG Queen color I picked up expired in Sept. 2014, you know I had to tell them about that. So I picked up the new Revlon Photoready Airbrushed Effect and their Colorstay Makeup both in the colors Cappuccino, then looked at Caramel...then went to the beauty specialist in the other section and she was like "I can't even help you with those" Hahaha, she basically said that they're never right or match perfectly (like we know), then she referred me to Boots No. 7, which I've never paid attention to but you can test and try, so I did. 25% off their products right now (Boots promo, not DR) so I got their Lift & Luminate Foundation in the color Hazelnut for $11 + tx (Regular $14.99). I had no idea their makeup was so reasonable.

My mistake! I thought it was CC but the abbreviation would be CG CC which just seemed too easy lol... I wear Cafe in Black Radiance BB, it's the lightest one available and even its a tad "rich" but it's a excellent product and cheap too

Question @ MontrealLady... How do u use the Blackberry Bronzer??? Since its shimmery, I've gotten very lil use out of it... At times when I'm feeling fancy I'll swipe some over MAC Blunt If I'm using it as a blush rather than contour just to give it some shimmery pop and help it blend with my assorted shimmery highlighters.

Girl, I haven't even opened it yet. Just remembered to look for it today, kind of misplaced it since Sunday, lol. I forget who said they had it in the highlighter thread and liked it...I'll have to play around with it to see how to use it.

I will tell u to go easy at first because girlll this stuff is PIGMENTED and can make our complexions a tad dirty looking, I know this from experience lol... It's dark but extremely cool so beware haha

That's what I was afraid of, I felt like it was for darker woc but, let me see who it was who said to give it a shot...

It makes a nice eye shadow or to blend ur matte contour into ur shimmery highlight using a tiny bit, lemme know how it works out for u

I'll remember to try it...some day. I need to slow down with the makeup. That being said, I just bought the CG CC creams

, BOGO, so I got the two darkest shades, Golden Honey and Sheer Expresso. One girl on YT said they make good primers. I will try both ways because it looks good on its own too, perfect for the weekends when I'm running around with my son.

Yeah these aren't red at all. They also don't have SPF, not sure how important that is to you. I use a moisturizer with SPF so it doesn't bother me. A couple of my foundations have it too. I just grabbed one of these - have you used it yet? I will get around to it soon but wondered if others have any experience with it.

Btw I love this CC cream! The darker color, Sheer Expresso, is my match, may exchange the lighter one for another Sheer Expresso. It totally evens/smoothes my skin tone and I can wear it alone for light days. I tried it under my EL Double Wear and No. 7 Foundations and that works too.

Yes I have the lighter two because one is a tad too light and the other is a tad too red... Normally I mix them swirling my brush in both and use the lighter one alone to set my under eye concealer... They r excellent at setting and giving lightweight coverage over foundation, bb cream or over moisturized bare skin for a quick run out the door... Buy two to make sure u can alter them one way or the other... More shades would be nice
