I still haven't found a "true" gold yet though, so if you all have suggestions, let me know!

gorgeous, your fotds are always so well blended. you should try mac gold pigment. I think its pro, im not sure. I received it as a sample but I love it!!

I love gold but never thought of using it with black (blondeeee what what! lol)

Anyways... as previously said, MAC pigment in gold (it's pro)
OR
Urban Decay Shimmer Veils in gold (if you dont mind sparkles)
OR
Fyrinnae's "Shrouded in gold" **my favorite** (no sparkles, just shimmer...its gorgeous)

I've gotten tons of compliments and very gold eyes by using those products!
