Yep- it's a BRIGHT burgandy/red color- it was an accident! I wanted a rich red color, and it turned pretty bright red- I only left it on for 10 minutes!

It's starting to grow on me now though- it challenges me to wear different e/s colors to go with it

I dug out the box- it is Clairol Natural Instincts #30 "Rosewood".

What color is your hair? If you have dark hair, it wont pick up the brighter red hue as well. If you have blond-medium brown color, it will dye even strands of deep reddish brown. Mine picked up the red because of my previous highlights underneath- they were bleached from any natural color, so the red "stuck" to them

You may want to try Urban Decay Deluxe Eyeshadow in Honey...it's a true gold colour IMO.

I used it as my highlight- it's such a beautiful color under the brow- I'm falling in love with it more than my beloved vanilla e/s
