We do have a scottish holiday! St. Andrews day is 30th November. No where near as big as St. Patricks day though...

Or Burns Night..which is today!!

Uh... about the enthusiasm... that's really what my s/n is a play on, my last name which is Burns which oddly enough has nothing to do with fire, but everything to do with water.

It's a celebration of the Scottish poet Robert Burns. Normally you just eat haggis with mashed turnip and potatoes but if you're going all out there's ceilidh's (lots of dancing) with pipers, recitation of specific poems and whiskey. It's lots of fun
