That is horrible that you were treated like that. I agree with ashleyv85 - if they are rude just don't buy from them. Try and find someone who will treat you with the respect you deserve. I am lucky because I always go to the same 2 or 3 MA's at my MAC store and they pretty much recognize me and are really nice. But I have had similar experiences with dept. store MA's.

yea, i usually never go to that mac, but it's a freestanding store so they'd take my gift card (but not at the usual fantastic counter i go to) =(

The gray looks fantastic on you. I'm sorry you had bad experience at MAC. I've been there, too, when I was a student in NYC and went into a MAC in a more fashionable part of Manhattan (the location will remain annonymous). Most of the time, I have fun chatting with the MUAs at MAC because it's fun, but some people just have terrible personalities no matter what.
