This review includes Terra Rossa described as a satiny purple though as photographed as a brown. "Not smudge proof," she says, which crosses it off my list. Yes, the eyeshadow palette is here. It's very - eh - "beige", in all possible meanings of the word.
The powders had actually arrived, but the SA's hadn't put them on the counter. I tested them on the back of my hand and on the face of my golden skinned daughter. They are all veeeery yellow! The lightest is far too light for me, and I am paler than pale. Medium light is outright ugly! - a sickly looking yellow with a weird tinge. Medium is a darker yellow. Dark is of course a darker yellow, but with a hint of bronze. It's the only color that looks wearable to my eye, and the only color that didn't just look like a yellow splotch on my daughter. On top of this, they are extremely chalky and difficult to blend.
I am sorry to be so negative, but I find the whole collection disappointing, and I seriously think it's a mistake to release these bronzing powders.
Oh no! How on earth could Chanel get the shades SO wrong!??? I haven't received my deep yet.

I was so hoping to see these in person. We left the kids' house really early Monday morning so the mall wasn't open. It was torture for me...we made it to Trader Joe's to stock up on our wine because they were open really early & right across the road is Nordies! I can see you but I can't shop!!!

Just got my Deep & it's going back. It's a bit too golden for me. I don't hate it, but I don't love it either. You should look natural/healthy not jaundiced I love my Laguna & MJ bronzer WAAAY better so...

It's really disappointing because it's Chanel. And, I LOVE Les Beiges. Bummer. I guess I am happy with the bronzers I have I have no idea why they thought yellow was a good shade for your face

Mine is going back as well. TBH I preferred the Medium, even though it was more yellow than this one! Besides not loving the undertone of Deep it really is too dark for me. I do wonder what Medium Deep looks like and - sit down for this - I do like the scent even though I am usually Ms. No Fragrance, because it is really beachy to me.
As far as the yellow I guess I could talk myself into thinking of them as more of a "sunlit glow" than a bronzer.

Have you checked her reviews of other colors by any chance? I'm just wondering if that's her general experience with these liners. All I can say is I have it on right now and don't notice any difference between this one and my others.
