Saw these 4 new polishes for Fall 2015 on IG.

I am quite new to the chanel band wagon. Been reading through this thread n finally decided to jump in. I saw this collection in person n decided to pick up the quad. Oh wow so smooth n pretty!! While I was there in also got the gorgeous jazzy blue mascara topper n swing eyeshadow.

To remind myself I have Swing I keep it on top of the Jazz quad. So when I grab for the quad I get the single too. For the top coat, I have found put on your mascara and let set for a couple of minutes, then apply the top coat. You will want to do both the top and under the upper lash for the most wow factor. OMG I am so rushed!!!! Need to make room in the rabbit hole for you and pack for who knows long for my job!!!! Do not move into my room while I am gone. Makeup Mama, keep my room open, please!!!!!! Makeup Mama is Meddy.....

Did you get the card with multiple folds on how to apply???? Really get Melody, great base for this quad. I used it today. At mass this morning a lady I have known for my entire life, is a makeup Goddess. She even told me Jazz with Melody rocked!!!! Velvet d"ombre's are matte, no shimmer, just a super base and fun!!!! I use the sponge applicator that comes with it. It has build able color. Welcome to the rabbit hole!!!!! Since Chanel has come out with the Tisse formula, to me, the best eyeshadow out there!!!!! In powder form.

Did you get the mascara in #70, the super dark navy??? I passed on it, then when I saw it, I was a goner.....my evil sister in law, even loves this formula. Claims it is the best mascara she ever has used.....of course my Mama gets perverse pleasure from this. Long story, but it is funny. Sister in law has even admitted she refused to use based on my Mama gave it to her. Then she tried it, and it kills her her Mama was right.

You NEED the darker navy polish is this release. Of course being out there. I wear on my left hand color A on all fingers but ring finger, I place color B. Then on my right hand I put on all fingers but ring finger color B, then ring finger color A. Use the new Chanel quick dry, it provides beyond words shine!!!!! Love your haul!!!!! Love the CT cream shadows. I have found using the TF concealer brush works the best for me or the white bristle Chanel fluffy brush. You will learn I can't remember names, but I do remember colors!!!!!

The chanel quad is the tissè d'automne. I put some swatches of the laura mercier palette in the sephora thread. It's very pigmented n smooth.

Yes, I got the navy polish-- such a basic. Wish it lasted longer than a day though.

The dates for release are in the time frame of the fashion/makeup events for most stores. I have found if I use a top coat with Chanel, the color lasts longer. The two new blues lasted on me for about 5 days. Yes, my hands are in and out of water for work. Hope these blushes/highlighters make it to the States!!!! I have also found certain colors of Chanel wear like steel, where others just suck for wear.

Yes, the new release of Chanel quick dry and shine helped with the wear time. However, it does not dry as fast as Seche does. Which I have been spoiled by. The regular shine from Chanel is outstanding. Since I have no patience, the dry time is too long for me. Wearing Chanel without a top coat the polish colors lasts about a minute on me. I do have short nails. Due to my job, long nails are not allowed. I also have started using their new base coat. Since my nails do have splinters of nail due to the water my hands are always are in. This base coat does provide a smooth surface and fills in the ridges of the nail.

Wear time is more related to what base and top coat work for your nail chemistry. You definitely don't need to get the brand's base and top coat, use whatever ones work best with your nails. I only have one base coat that extends wear for me past a day, so I use that with every brand of polish. So when you find a base and TC combo that works, use it with everything!

Out of interest, which base coat do you find works for you? I've been using the Revlon colorstay gel base coat as it's the only thing I've tried that works to keep my polish on but I think it's damaging my nails a bit.
