But it is not just skipping it, what susprises me the most is that customer service in Spain first claimed that it's Chanel's policy, and at that point I thought that Chanel's policy must be the same worldwide, not to sell any pre-made set and just a few hours after, admit that the sets do exist (where's that marketing philosophy now?).

Idd it felt snooty ... and unnecesary! I am buying Chanel because of the quality of their products not because I like to spread all the stuff I carry on my purse so the people I am with can check how classy I am

Well, maybe. But if they would have thought that way, the normal answer would have been "no, we don't offer any gift set with your purchase from the Holiday Collection, but we do have those other sets for buying if you are interested".
Anyway, at least I had a good time reading those absurd emails.
