So I'm pretty sure I'm getting the highlighter, as it is quite unique. What do folks think of the quint? texture, pigmentation, etc? It looks nice enough in swatches, but for the price, the quality and performance should be up there.

Ahoy there Bronwyn! The swatches all look smooth and pigmented. I took the plunge & ordered it and will be able to share my experience first hand, hopefully this
week.

it's beautiful! The colors are pigmented, blend seamlessly, no fallout, and work really well together.

That sounds really good! I'm appreciating the lavender in it, that's my current obsession makeup wise

I'm so excited for it. I couldn't stop obsessing about the gold e/s. I love a neutral gold eye look w/ red lips for the holidays.
It is very classic holiday, and chanel in general is the epitome of classic makeup imho.

Okay, I'm going out tonight and wanted to use both the highlighter and the blush. As pretty as they are, I don't feel as if they show up well on me. It doesn't really look like anything is there. I even built them up. I like them a lot so I'll keep them, but I am disappointed a bit. I'm still getting ready so don't mind me.
What kind of brush did you use? Try a denser brush.

Ok, this was a bit of a rush makeup job, but I wanted to show ya'll anyway. I used rubenesque under the shadows cause I don't have envol (yet). I used the gold from the quint in my inner corner, the lightest gray all over the lid and above the crease, the mid grey in the crease, and the dark in the outer v and as a liner on top and half of bottom. I used the white shade as a brow highlight and blended it with the light grey. I used the liner on the inner third of my bottom lashline, and smoky grey on my waterline. I used my hakuhodo 210 for the blush, and it showed up beautifully. I used a fan brush with the highlighter, and it isn't to much for me. I'm also wearing volage lipstick. I'm happy with how it turned out .

Here are the swatches for Fashion Night Out. Top one is Berry Lucky, middle is Cocorange, and bottom, Sweet Star. The orange mascara not sold in the States, is next to the Cocorange. The nail polish is Sweet Star. A softer version of OPI Peace and Love. It does change color to green or lilac. The Sweet Star eyeliner, does change to silver when you switch the lighting.

Yes, these are eyeliners, not lip liners. I used the Gucci teal mascara with the Sweet Star eyeliner, it looked nice. The nail polish really does change color as you move your hand around. It is cool.

Or the personal shopper I use is Karen Meadows, 224-688-4744, direct line, [email protected]

Karen is working tonight, will there for another hour or so. Renee works all the time. Good luck, both of these ladies rock!!!!

Last week my dept store had Camélia de Plumes Platine out, and for some bizarre reason, I didn't even swatch it! I think it's because I assumed it was around $90. Must have been getting it confused with Dior's holiday highlighter coming out soon. Now, after seeing swatches... it's absolutely beautiful and I *must* have it! I hope it's still there today, I'll be running by after class this afternoon. Fingers crossed for me! Hope I didn't miss it.
