It’s very pretty but very glittery. A gorgeous special occasion kind of item but definitely not something you’d use as an everyday shade.

My red gloss and Rose Lame cream shadow arrived yesterday. I still haven't used anything from this collection yet. I keep getting out late and using my go to/quick out the door highlighter which is right now Tom Ford Reflects Gilt. Will try again tomorrow. Everything looks really pretty. I need to fix that for sure.

I swatched the red gloss today & it is gorgeous. It does have a slight good metallic sheen to it. Not sure how that translates on the lips. I didn't get it cause...I bought a ton of other stuff lolol Oh, I am going to get the black lion eyeshadow. It's a very beautiful slight grey black & is not glittery, but has some slight pretty shimmy.

Hey, is it just me or is the Chanel word on the holiday makeup bags upside down? If you wanted to carry it, it faces the zipper, which would make it upside down lol.

You're so 'all right' describing the 'black' lion eyeshadow. On me it doesn't show black at all, it's really greyish (anthracite) with a smooth shimmer. It's a very special colour, I'm wearing it everyday... You don't have to wait until special occasions. I'm not sure if I'll get the red gloss. I like it very much, but this one would be a totally 'special occasion item' for me (and I've tons of others from the last collections etc.). Enjoy Friday!

Really liking the texture of the Or Rose Signe du Lion highlighter these days.
The Le Lion de Chanel is supposed to be the same; and in gold, too.... Sigh.

When I was thinking of substitute shades for the eyeshadows my mind went to Tisse Venitien and Gucci's Crystal Copper etc but I forgot about the darkest shade in Code Subtils.
Just a random thought.

Ok peeps, here is my first of holiday crafty creations. I made the kids an Advent Christmas House calendar. It took me waaay more time than I anticipated. I cut all the houses, windows & circle numbers & stamped each house number on the boxes. The bottoms open up. They are filled with chocolates, money, baby socks lol, hair bows, baby jingle bell bracelet, jingle bell necklace, pumpkin pie spice, apple pie spice, cinnamon spice, scratch off lottery ticket, bouncing ball, lip balm etc. And, I cannot believe they made it completely intact through shipping. I packed them extremely well in one of those thick heavy decorative gift boxes. The kids loved it & were so appreciative of the time spent.
