Chanel Items Being Discontinued (and previously discontinued)

Unlike most people, I've always preferred the RC to the RA formula. I'm nervous about having them change it. Breaks my heart to know that Rivoli will be gone, because it's such a stunning, classy red. I did notice that Dior Pied de Poule is very close, so I'll take solace in that. Looks like a lot of the powder blushes are being discontinued as well.

I'm with you Kate. In fact I don't plan to buy any more RAs (among other things I find the scent overwhelming), so I'm hoping I'll like the new RCs. Teger said some of the old RC shades would be coming back so maybe Rivoli will be among them?

That list is so depressing. I just bought another RA Rouge Noir as backup yesterday, since it's one of my favourite lipsticks. Foudroyante proved to be almost a dupe, but that's LE, so it's just a temporary alternative. And it doesn't have that perfect mix of red, brown and black anyway.

I'm going to miss a lot of the products on the list, but Rouge Noir is the biggest loss for me.

I'm so sad that the Beige Ambre foundation has been discontinued. I hope they bring it back but make it better.

Oh dear, just realised the glossimer in bonbon has been discontinued. I love that colour and have had in the crystalle and aqualumiere formulas in the past too. Now it's gone :'(

Hi everyone! My HG foundation beige amber 34 got discontinued but if you all go to chanel.com, they are keeping the ambre 114 shade. My guess is that they are adding new colors. Also I spoke with someone at Nordstrom's and they are relaunching the perfection lumiere line, but no one knows when yet. So I'm confident when Chanel discontinues something, it will be 100% better. For example, the new eye shadow quads (new formula is amazing) and the new rouge allure glosses have more pigment to them and better packaging. So I'm confident everything will be fine. But if you need the foundation, just call Nordstrom's or go online to sake or neimans and it may be on their site or you call could call the stores and they have a distribution center in which their warehouses still have the product. I'm not giving up on Chanel, they are the best makeup company out there! :)

I'm wondering if they're revamping the glossimer lineup. I noticed Pink Peony on Chanel's web site, but out of stock, the other day. Wasn't that one long gone? Or am I remembering wrong?

In the UK i've found out that they've now discontinued Eau Douceur. I've been to several counters with no such luck. However, I did get told that Chanel will be releasing a cleanser to replace it.
