Thanks! They're a good distraction for me right now. Much more fun than thinking about the hurricane that's headed here.

A few weeks back i woke up with major back pain, and i'm still suffering from itOh what happened Liz? I must have missed a post of yours.
Thank you very much, i really hope so tooOh no. I'm so sorry. I know what it's like to have really bad back pain, and it seems to take forever to go away. I hope you feel better soon!
No, it was released with the summer 2012 collection. Is SABLE-EMOUVANT new? I am confused too.
It was a warm reddish brown and a creamy ivory, both had a lovely shimmer to them. It was too warm toned for me so I passed on it.For some reason I do not remember it.
Thanks

Well, turns out that US Variation looks very different color-wise from Cafemakeup's swatches of the Euro version:I got the Variation quad as a gift from my mom today I have yet to try the quad on my eyes but i must say that i fell in love when i swatched these on my handI definitely see myself using this quad also during the holidays, the micro glitters in these shades are just stunning. I'm really happy with it
Hmm yes i see they're indeed slightly different .. I had no idea, thought the colors would always be the sameThanks Liz. I may just get it from Izzy's Beauty Shoppe online if I end up ordering the baked version of Ultra Rose later this month. The baked and powder formulas of both the e/s and the JCs can differ in color somewhat. Narcisse blush for example was cooler-toned in the baked formula than in the powder. Rose Dust was more mauvey and less brown in the baked version, etc. I much prefer the baked in those 2 JCs because of the colors, but I only wear them occasionally because my skin doesn't love the formula. lol You can see here how US vs Euro Turbulent were a little different from each other too:

Maybe they can't use the exact same pigments in different places or in the different processes for some reason, or maybe the same pigments react differently to the different processes. Who knows.
