They really do try. My counter had two vaguely similar colored Glossimers in place of the two from this collection and I asked the SA if they were out of the two from this. She said "oh no, they're right there". Ohh honey, I know those aren't the spring Glossimers, don't even.

OMG-----the nerve!!!! This is the kind of stuff that keeps me ordering online or via a SA who will take my order by phone & see that it's shipped to me---period!!!

OMG. I would have had SUCH a problem with that. I don't drop $$ on high end products to have SAs try to mess around with me. That would have been an instant loss of my business.

I was soooooo tempted to leave, except for the fact the boyfriend was buying and he wanted me to have it on Christmas Eve. I had an issue with this SA once before, maybe with last year's spring collection and I hadn't been back to the counter since then. It's the only Chanel counter with less than a 40 min drive too :(

So sweet of your boyfriend! Mine laughs and hands me a gift card. which, is better than nothing. :) i'm sorry you have had problems with that SA! We, as consumers, shouldn't be treated this way. It bothers me. I am lucky that the SA at my usual Chanel counter back by school is so sweet. I'm really getting into Chanel right now, which is lucky, because that's the only good counter we have. When I come home it's always like a shopping spree because we have an NM with aalllllll the luxe counters. :haha:

I get into less trouble when I shop online and by phone. I live within 15 minutes of a Saks, Neiman's, Bloomingdales, et al. I could do some major damage if I'm not careful

I feel you! My closest mall to my mom's place, 20 minute drive, has all three of those, a giant super nice sephora, macy's, and a nordstrom. I definitely do waay too much damage when I go. Thankfully I'm not living there year round or else I'd be eating lipstick and ramen for dinner :haha:
