Hmmm, I wonder if all of the NPs in this collection are going to be shimmery/frosty. If so it'll be a skip for me.

I saw this and choked on my water! Good heavens. To each their own, I suppose. I know plenty who love this quint. @EllaS made a beautiful look with it, too!!http://www.temptalia.com/chanel-lintemporel-de-chanel-eyeshadow-palette-review-photos-swatches#more-191404
I have this too Lauren and I really like it!Granted I have always used it over a primer but I can honestly say the outcome isnt how it looks like on T!!!I saw this and choked on my water! I really do think it's, in part, the lack of primer rearing its problematic head again. I compare her eye to the eye I did and it's like...not the same palette. And believe me I have no magical skills when it comes to eyeshadow application. I mean were some of the shades powdery? Sure. But they are certainly workable. And I remember you telling me how much you loved it even before I tried it! Very unfortunate the palette was represented in a better light, I think.I have this too Lauren and I really like it!Granted I have always used it over a primer but I can honestly say the outcome isnt how it looks like on T!!!
I think the palette works best with a sponge brush to minimize fall outs. I like wearing it too. I gave it a B- rating.hboy: Aww thank you Lauren. :frenz: I'm a little speechless about that review honestly. An "F"? I can think of far drier and more powdery palettes! This one doesn't even come close! I really do think it's, in part, the lack of primer rearing its problematic head again. I compare her eye to the eye I did and it's like...not the same palette. Oh interesting! Hadn't thought to try it with a sponge, but I could definitely see that helping. I think B- is fair, given the powdery nature and tendency for fall out. Much more reasonable than F!I think the palette works best with a sponge brush to minimize fall outs. I like wearing it too. I gave it a B- rating.

That's the bad thing! She is so popular and a lot of people rely solely on her reviews and miss out on a lot of great products. I know I missed one very good LE MAC product (I don't remember which one) a few years ago because of her bad review and when it was sold out everywhere I found out that everyone else loves it! I went through the comments of the palette's review and I'm 100% sure that none of these people would even bother to swatch it, if they see it. And although this palette in particular is not something amazing, some other products with bad ratings are.she is full of s....
before you review makeup learn how to use it, what brushes to use, how to apply it...
I remember she trashed one of the chanel quads and I never bought it because of her review. Long long time after I bough it because I fell in love with it when i tried at the counter. It was super pigmented . There was nothing wrong with the quad
Eeeeeeeeeeeek. I don't really know what to say about that photo except LOL! She does a lot, lot, lot of work for beauty consumers but I've learned to take her reviews with a grain (or mound lol) of salt. Though her eye looks rarely urge me to buy products. It's usually everyone's opinions on here that sway me!!she is full of s....

I have it too Vee. Have not yet worn it but I'm eager to because even with my limited skills I can construct an eye look that would easily rival whatever it is that she doesI have this too Lauren and I really like it!Granted I have always used it over a primer but I can honestly say the outcome isnt how it looks like on T!!!

This isn't the eye look for this particular palette that received the F rating. I ordered this palette and was super disappointed with the results as well. Even my daughter who is a MUA with the best brushes money can buy was turned off by its performance. We tried with various primers and no luck. We sent it packing after two days. Chanel could've done a better job on this one.she is full of s.... before you review makeup learn how to use it, what brushes to use, how to apply it... I also listened to her, I believe it was last spring, on 2 eye shadow singles (exaltation and palpitation). Thank goodness they weren't LE, bc I tried them on at the counter and they looked amazing on and I had NO Issues with either. She trashed both so bad and claimed there was no color payoff, D or F grade, dry, blah blah. None of it was true for me. I think everyone needs to take her reviews with a huge grain of salt instead of blindly listening, especially with Chanel. I've been guilty of it myself, but I'm done doing that.she is full of s.... before you review makeup learn how to use it, what brushes to use, how to apply it... no it is not eye look for this palette nor I said that It was just a reminder of how seriously she takes her reviewsThis isn't the eye look for this particular palette that received the F rating. I think it is garbage when people trash a product they do not even own. Reminds me of high school....well Suzy said this sucked, so it must. Then you tell everyone something sucks, not because you know this for a fact. Because Suzy said so, and Suzy is never wrong.....not. I know nothing about Bobbi Brown products. But it would be like me ranting on how something is awful in that line, when I never laid eyes on it. If you actually own something and hate it, go rant. Again, to me, time and time again this person has shown she has a chip on her shoulder when it comes to Chanel. Think about, if all the products this person claims suck made by Chanel, do you honestly think Chanel would keep having sales? Of course all companies make less then perfect products. But to me, I do not consider this person to be unbiasedThat's because Ella has skills. T lacks the skills required to demonstrate the potential of eye products.

and calls " a look". It's pitiful!
At the end of the day its just makeup. And no one should take any blogger/YTuber's word as golden when it comes to reviewing products because what doesn't work on one might not work on another. I use reviews as a research tool versus those who take someone at their word determining whether or not to purchase based off a performance grade. Nor do I get upset when someone rates my fave holy grail with a poor grade. It didn't work for them for whatever reason but its working for me. I think too many of us get wrapped up in these reviews instead of just investigating if it will work for US individually. There are so many things that bloggers said wouldn't work on darker complexions....I defied them all because I did my own research and learned that those products worked for me.no it is not eye look for this palette nor I said that It was just a reminder of how seriously she takes her reviews if you want to be the best blogger out there you can't smear two colors all over your eyes like a 3 year old then you have no credibility!
