I wonder how do somw women have such exclusives in their hands!http://www.depop.com/en-gb/moonbeam/chanel-stylo-eyeshadow-in-colorazione http://www.stylescoop.co.za/2015/03/11/chanel-summer-2015-makeup-collection-mediterranee/
Start a successful beauty blog with LOTS of followers. make sure the beauty brands know you exist. receive a selection of the new collection for free, weeks/months before they are released. review the products (preferably in a positive way) and make sure all your followers buy them. voilà! relatively cheap publicity/ PR for the beauty brands.I wonder how do somw women have such exclusives in their hands!http://www.depop.com/en-gb/moonbeam/chanel-stylo-eyeshadow-in-colorazione http://www.stylescoop.co.za/2015/03/11/chanel-summer-2015-makeup-collection-mediterranee/
I can think of several beauty bloggers here in the US who are Chanel fans with lots of followers who do not seem to get freebies from Chanel -- Beauty Look Book and Cafemakeup come to mind. I think Chanel is missing the boat there. The early Chanel IG pics I see are always from countries other than the US. I wonder if their PR/marketing group is just more into social media outside the US or what?voilà! relatively cheap publicity/ PR for the beauty brands.
I don't think so. From what I've heard here in Germany, Chanel PR is very strict. I've heard of them not working with blogs because they didn't like the blog name. I also remember one smaller blog getting in trouble because of a photo, I believe she was told to remove it from her blog. And as far as I remember it wasn't even a promo image, it was a photo of the blogger's own Chanel product. I'm sure it's very hard to even get on the press mailing list, let alone getting product samples. Chanel is known for not having much interest in working with bloggers (not sure if that has changed since I heard these stories a couple of years ago).I can think of several beauty bloggers here in the US who are Chanel fans with lots of followers who do not seem to get freebies from Chanel -- Beauty Look Book and Cafemakeup come to mind. I think maybe Spain and Italy are where the IGers with the early products are? But I'm no IG expert compared to you, Vineetha and AWS!I don't think so.
