I'm sad now, because it looks too liquid and metallic for me.

Thank you for that pic. That plus Risa saying they have a brush applicator has killed any inkling of a lemming I might have had.

Thanks ladies

What I really don't like in this pic, is the line in the middle of her lips... it looks like it's too watery. I can't wait to see more pics, because I can't go at the MAC store.

Just curious, but why don't you like the brush aspect? I never understood that although I have tons of customers saying "eww!" to lustreglasses for the same reason.

I never understood that either. Personally, I prefer the brush applicators.

I Love The Brush Applicators Because You Can Give A Kick Butt Line On Your Lippies To The Point Of Sheer Playboy Poutiness.

I also am a fan of brush applicators.

I have already seen these in person, and they are very shiny, and have that metallic flash to them for sure. Very pigmented like the lacquers.

I'm kinda sad about the price though

They dont seem much bigger than the lipglass/lusterglasses...but they cost more.

*shrugs*

But there's gonna be some definite pretty colors...

How much are they going to be?
I also like the brush applicators, much more than the sponges, they seem cheap to me.

I can't wait for these. I am SO psyched. I love unique MAC products! And I'm so happy they have a brush applicator! I was actually thinking about trying to put a lustreglass wand into a lipglass container, but I haven't actually tried.

I will probably buy all of them, even if I don't plan on wearing them. LOL sometimes I buy makeup just to look at it.

Hmmm. I think this is something I'm going to have to see in person before I decide. The color is pretty, but I'm not a big fan of metallic looking stuff on me....

It definitely sounds like a see-in-person product.

Incidentally, the brush thing sounds like a plus to me. I haven't yet got any lustreglasses but when I heard they have a brush instead of the doe-foot (which ain't so crash-hot for application imho), it piqued my interest.

Edit:

Whoops! Gee, they don't give us much breathing space between collections, do they??? Jan 12th...how do die-hard MAC addicts afford all these collections?!

I guess I am in the minority, but I hate the brush applicators. I find it harder to apply evenly, and brushes tend to 'splay' which is annoying. I honestly think I'd like Lustreglasses more if they had the doe foot applicator that the Lipglasses do.

I find that brush is quite difficult to control. It's not as solid and firm as sponge applicator. IMHO.. lustreglasses are too watery to applied using brush. (I'm definitely jealous of gals who can get these lippies in control!)

I doesn't 'hate' brush applicators, but I prefer something else. My #316 is better than the brush in a LustreGlass. It's too small.

These look like gloss versions of the foil like frosty lipsticks I hate! It just never looks right on me, but I'm sure they'll be pretty on others. Good thing though, I can't afford anymore MAC for a while! lol

For what its worth, I like brush applicators too.

I love brush applicators, sponge/doe footed applicators drive me nuts.
The chromeglass sound interesting, I don't think I'll get any. But interesting all the same.
