Sorry for bumping, but I decided to share my experience in the hope it will be useful for someone. Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic accept returns only if you haven’t worn the clothes.
Athleta has a Give-It-a-Workout-Guarantee, so you can try out an item, and if it doesn’t perform as you want, you can return it within 60 days.
American Eagle offers free returns with no time limit as long as you have proof of purchase (such as your receipt, invoice, order confirmation email, order details page or order confirmation page).
Speaking about Walmart, most items can be returned or exchanged within 90 days of purchase. To get a full refund back to the original form of payment, you’ll need to provide the receipt or the Walmart com order number.

I recently discovered for myself a new brand, after reading Roamans reviews on this website https://roamans.pissedconsumer.com/review.html. They return policies are quite good actually but i didn't have to return too many items so far. The fit is mostly true to the size, even for the jeans (which happens not that often)
