Collection Superstition (Fall 2013)

I've had to give up on my present blushes (NARS and UD) due to allergy issues

and I've read a number references to Dior's Rosy Glow in Petal 001 here at the Superstition collection thread.
I'm waiting for SSuperstition's blushes to arrive here in Madrid (mid-August) to swatch.

Now I'm intrigued enough to pass by a Dior stand today to swatch and test this possible candidate for a standard blush for me.

You're tempting me with this as well. Med seems to be head over heels with this blush. Pinkdollface, your phrase applies perfectly here.

It's actually ABBA's phrase, but it does fit perfectly

They are both very nice in their textures & blend into the skin very nicely. I do think that the Dior cream blushes have a slight edge over the Chanel ones in that they make the skin itself look very smooth /glow from within look.

The Chanel blushes have such beautiful color pigmentation & each color in the collection works with each other so well. So I like that a lot. Anyone can wear any/all of the colors.

Aw that's so sweet

I don't like creamy bright lipsticks that much because they settle into the lines around my lips, but I'll check it out. I haven't tried any of the Rouge Coco Shines. Maybe they don't have the settling as bad as some others.
Now don't make me want to buy them all

I've heard you rave about this blush and tried to ignore it. This blush came out with their spring collection last year called Garden Party right? I was interested in it at that time, but never got it. I'll check it out next week when I get payed together with Amant.

I just discovered it when the new cream blushes came out & the girls here told me that it was a beautiful blush color. As far as the ls settling into the lines, I haven't noticed that. If you get to see the Petal blush in the store, it swatches different on the hand than how it looks on the face.

I' d guess you cannot but would like to make sure.

I ordered the quad, the 2 single e/s, 2 of the cream blushes, and 2 of the RCS......Rendez-vous and Secret. Can't wait to get everything!!!

No quad or nail polishes for me but I need the lippies and some blushes

My stuff came today! I can't wait to put on Alchimie later! The Mystique Rouge Coco is definitely not the color I expected (since I ordered before swatches were available) but it's still really pretty and I'll definitely use it a lot. I was expecting a vivid red coral like the swatch on the collection sheet but it's a pink coral it actually reminds me of Sushi Kiss from Mac All About Orange just not as intense/more easily wearable than Sushi Kiss

Yep, we all had that same issue trying to find them. My local Dillards had them but that was the only place I've seen them. And, Macys online, but they sent the wrong items to one of our ladies here.

So do you already have the Petal 001?
