Could somebody help me with a "party" look?

I'm going to a party the first weekend of December, and I really want my makeup to look good! I have brown eyes, naturally fair skin but I use self-tanner to achieve a light tan, and my hair is honey blonde. This and this is what I look like so maybe somebody can get an idea of what the suggestion might look like. I would appreciate any suggestions! I've looked through the tutorial sections about 1000 times trying to find something but I feel a little intimidated to try one of the looks because my makeup skills don't compare to those who have posted their tutorials.

how about a shimmery eye look?
I'm addicted to taupes here this season.

Try this look:
MAC Vanilla Pigment (Or Seedy Pearl e/s) on the browbone
Mulch in the crease
MAC Satin Taupe e/s from lashline to the crease
Maybe use a brown eyeliner
and for a bit of fun use a lilacky purple e/l on the lower lashline
Black mascara

Use a pink blush (not sure a good color rec there)

and a nude pink lip-maybe MAC VGV lipgloss?

I think you would look great with a shimmery e/s wash, something like Phloof! e/s or Vanilla pigment, thick dark liner on upper and lower lashes, TONS of mascara, warm, pink blush (something like Dollymix) and a sheer pink lip (Pinkarat l/g?)
