when i first got crazed i was really upset when i first put it on because i looked like a clown. now i barely even graze the top of it with my sephora stipling brush and blend blend blend and it looks great now. crazed is so pigmented that you really need to practice applying it super lightly. i love crazed lately because it gives me that just in from the cold flush

My feeling towards fair skin and bright blushers are the brighter the better. They always seem to give fair skin that extra kick and glow. It's also really easy to look like a clown when using the brights to. Light hands and tapping the excess and some of the not excess off. I usually use my 187 and I tap it in the pan once if it's a strong colour (Like Frankly Scarlet). I then tap off as much product as seems necessarily and then a little more. The you just apply lightly to the apples.
I'm NW20 but I work on a friend a lot who's like NC-1000 lol. I swear that if she didn't have brown eyes she'd be albino. She's gorgeous and has the beautiful pale skin and I love using magentas and brights on her to just bring out some some colour to her face. I use the technique said above.

For high pigment blushes, I lightly dab the blush pan, then swirl it a bit on the back of my hand to test the intensity, then apply it to my cheeks. Or sometimes I'll lightly dab the blush on my cheeks and buff it out with a clean brush.

A tip I got from the Make Up For Ever counter:

Just before applying a highly pigmented blush, dust cheeks with a little extra loose powder. It helps the pigments blend better mixed with the loose powder and the oil from the face is not interfering with the blending process. This will also help the blush last longer and stay true.
