I think this will be the collection that tips me over into being a full-blown MAC addict ! I LOVE Glissade, it looks so beautiful in the pictures, I can't wait to see it for myself. Lightscapade is almost definitely going to be too light for me but it looks glorious - I wonder if i can figure out a way to wear it?

I like the look of that Pastorale pigment as well. I don't own any pigments, but this is such a lovely colour I think I'll splash out.

how bad is it that i just picked up all the extra hours i could at work so i could spend more on mac after xmas. and i didn't even know about this collection goddd.
heres my list so far:
Pas-de-deux - Soft aluminum silver with pink pearl
En Pointe - Pastel pink with white pearl
Standing Ovation - Bright pink with white pearl
Corps-de-ballet - Soft plum with silver pearl
Danse - Rose pink with silver pearl (Frost)
Aire-de-blu - Sky blue with silver sparkle
Pastorale - Khaki green with gold pearl
Glissade - Golden peach with muted metallic plum veining
the other MSF looks kinda deadish to me :S

I'm definitely planning to get both MSFs and as for others, I'll see when I get to the counter on Dec. 26th!

Possibly dumb questions alert, since I've never been around for a new collection release before. I'm going to be visiting my Mom in Florida on the 26th. She is near the Town Center mall in Boca Raton, FL, which has a freestanding store, Bloomingdales, macy's, nordstrom, neimans and saks. Will I have any problem getting the MSFs etc. if I go to the mall on the 26th? How quickly do they sell out? Do I need to get there early? Am I best off hitting the free standing store, or will they be crazy?

You should get there EARLY,preferably as soon as they open,
the first day the collection is realeased. Everything will sell out fast,
but the coveted MSF's will go first. Since everything is LE everyone will be scrambling to get it. Sometimes they (the stores) only get a handful of each item for new collections. So to guarantee you won't miss out be there ASAP.
You could call and maybe they will reserve a few pieces for you.
I get all my MAC at my local Macy's and they know me as a regular so they will hold stuff for me if I request it. You may be able to do the same as long as you promise to pick it up when you say,or they will put it back out for others to purchase.
I have never been to a MAC freestanding store, so I don't know how it goes there,I would say it sells out just as fast as the dept.stores though. Hope that helps you out. =o)

Thank you SOOOO much for the info. I don't live in Florida and I think I've only been to the store there once or twice, so I don't know anyone there, but I'm getting to Florida a few days early so I think I will go in a few days early and beg to have some put away!

I just posted some swatches of Glissade in the swatch section. I have to say although this is a totally gorgeous colour, it does resemble NARS Orgasm, just slightly more pigment and has more staying power. That said it is def worth getting.

Lingerie was up online on December 23rd last year. I remember b/c I was leaving town to travel then and wasn't sure if I could order online or not. This year, December 23rd is a Saturday. So I'm not sure what will happen.

EDIT: I did a Livechat and got no info. The MAC rep said the release date is 12/26 and that I'd get an e-mail b/c I'm registered at MAC. So basically no more info.

cant wait for my birthday a.k.a boxing day! australia is actually getting danse the same day as the US which is unbelievable, and i spose when you think of the time differences, it'll be december 26 in australia before it is in the US.

definate buys will be both MSFs which i will be posting pics of ASAP so for all of you in the US check on the swatch page on xmas night and i should have swatches etc. up for you
