Not to be a downer here... but a reminder that if you bid on MAC stuff before its released you're bidding on stolen property. They either got nicked from the training update or the factory.
It always makes me sad when I see this stuff on ebay - it means someone I work with is a thief.

Your point is a good one. In this instance, this seller is supposedly works for a magazine and gets early releases for photo layouts - they're always the ones with early releases. I'm not saying it's right or wrong.

If MAC finds out who this is, they'll never send previews out to that publication again. MAC doesn't "blanket" send out new lines like other cosmetic companies - it's either by request or only to senior beauty editors....
... Which is why I doubt they're ever "magazine" people on ebay when they say they are. I know tonnes of people who get truckloads of swag and they give it away to junior staff and friends. It's just not worth your job - and someone always finds out.
The e-bay problem also why our gratis is getting mutilated by the compan, taken out of boxes, etc etc.

Totally!!! Makes *no* sense. But someone inevitably will.
If it is a real magazine person they're behaving completely unethically. Worked for mags for years... and profiting off your swag is a fireable offence. If MAC finds out who this is, they'll never send previews out to that publication again.
