revlon mattes..these are great shadows. i havent found anything drug store wise as far as shadows go in a very long time but these are great.

and from the hard candy thread..there seems to be decent bronzers and mineral shadows in that line that is sold at walmarts now.

L'Oreal makes a good matte black and matte dark brown. They could be a bit more pigmented but for d/s mattes, these are my favs. Jane e/s palettes are decent as well.

When I was in highschool all I used was the Almay trios. The colors are coordinated for you eye color, and they are smooth and well pigmented! I still love them today. Even though L'oreal tests' on animals, I still *love* their duos. The metallic formulas are better than the mattes and satins. My personal favorite is Gunmetal, I also like gilded. They DO go on sale at Ulta, Walgreens, CVS and Albertsons (buy one get one free or b1get1 1/2 off) i suggest buying them from there to get the best value! Don't go to target or walmart- way over priced! At Target I <3 Sonia Kasnuk products, though they are a bit pricey but they do go on the 10-15% off sometimes, but great quality.

Covergirl has some *awesome* quads and I actually got them on sale at Ulta, I have swatches in my blog of a few of them (signature)

hmmmm what else! Ok so I do like Revlon Matte colors, they are also kind of a pricey-er drugstore brand, but really good! My favorite color is Venitian Blue!

The last would be Physicians Formula. Probably the best frosty shadows ever! They also have palettes coordinated with different eye colors, and really good wet-to dry trios that you can apply wet or dry that are greatly pigmented. =)

OH I forgot to add! DON'T GET ELF! It's the worst, their lipglazes stink, (literally smell bad) and their brushes and shadows are terrible, even with a primer the shadows don't show up. ( you get what you pay for in this case, a $1 is worth a $1)

Maybelline and Revlon have nice quads. You get a highlight, lid, crease, and liner shade in diff finishes for under $10.
