I'm seriously impressed with the new nail polish formula, I got Palais Royal. It's so easy to apply, it dries fast, brush is perfect, shade is gorgeous.

Palais Royal is my kind of shade. Very similar to OPI berlin there done that, which I also love. I have Lucky, Wonderland, Rouge 999, Massai and Hypnotic on my WL. :)

999 is one of those perfect reds, I've tried it in the old formula but I hated the old brush and avoided buying them. I ended up with only 3 of their nail polishes which I couldn't resist - Nirvana, Purple Mix and Nuit 1947. Now is a different story though, I can see another obsession coming :D

Do you have any shades to recommend? I have high hopes for Massai but I need a nice, pinkish nude as well. :)

I have Wonderland but I passed on Palais Royal only temporally because I had just ordered Yacht from
Transat. It's lighter than PR, which I've added to my WL. I have Rouge 999 in the non-gel formula.

PR is must-have shade imo. :) Lately I don't have time for anything and I keep reaching for the fast drying formulas. PR is one of those, it dries incredibly fast. Have you seen these?

Lots of reds. Tra-la-la looks similar to the nude I'm looking for.

999 AKA Red Royalty is BEAUTIFUL! I happened to love the old brush because I could do my nails in two strokes/swipes. I don't find the new brush
tremendously different---the old brush is more tapered at the end but the new brush retained the wideness of the old brush that appealed to me, and actually seems
wee bit wider at the end, and narrower toward the top. You ended up with three of the Dior colors that I love. Incognito is a great pinky-nude, and I see Dior has
replicated the shade in the new gel formula.

Love, love, love. Tra-la-la is pretty. When I looked at Incognito at an online dept store, it appeared light like Tra-la-la. I have Mirage, Junon, Front Row (wearing
that today), Wonderland and Bonheur. I'm trying to avoid the shades that I already have in the old formula. I can apply the Dior Gel topcoat on those. I do love
several of the new gel colors.

How do those new colours behave with the dior top coat by the way? Do they lose some of their lustre? I love dior TC, it gets nails done in five minutes, but the new formula probably won't accept it.

After using one for the first time today I asked myself the same thing,

having not thought it trough before hand. I ended up using the Dior non-gel top coat which did

not alter or change the finish and it dried fairly quick, but I didn't actually time it.

The old ones were love or hate I think. :)

The brushes are world apart to me :) The old one is fat, not flexible enough and not properly rounded. It looks like they just chopped off the corners. Pedi is out of question with that one. The old formula was too thick, I pulled out the Nuit last night that I bought only few months ago, the formula is useless. I'll need a lot of thinner to bring it back to life. I had Incognito, loved the colour but the formula got goopy after only one use. And it was like that with all of them. I got rid of some and stopped buying Dior even though I really loved the shades.

I'm happy they changed it but kept some shades. Perfect move imo. The new brush is the same as YSL and Lancome I think, I need to compare them. I need just one stroke with them, they fit my nails perfectly.

Pandore is a gorgeous colour, the fluid stick won't work on me but I'll be wearing it though, the texture is so light on the lips. The np is to die for, I am currently wearing it on toes.

My 4 bright/vibrant red Dior np : Pandore, Trafalgar ( more an orange red, previous formula ), Captain ( I haven't tried it yet but it looks gorgeous in the bottle ) and 999 ( previous version, not the gel one ), Pandore is quite unique in fact I don't know the reason why but it's a must-have for everyone who loves bright np !

999 lipstick is one of my constant go to reds
eyelove.gif
Yes Elegant I agree, it's THE perfect go-to red lipstick, not garish at all and classy. I also love the scent, it's very delicate I think. I am more a Diorific woman ( because they wear soooo long ) but the Dior lipstick is very good too, much more moisturizing than the Diorific formula. 999, again..... a must-have !
