I'll explain again, since I may have been misunderstood.

Cherie Bow 2013 had 155 Tutu, a light pastel pink creme which was reincarnated in 155 Tra-la-la in gel formula. They are very, very similar, IMO. I have the old one and the new one looks exactly alike in a side by side swatch at the counter. The old 155 Tutu was the one Dominique33 posted a picture of before, wondering if it was the same.

Cherie Bow 2013 also had 355 Rosy Bow, a barbie pink creme. I also have this one although I gave it to my mother, it really is very barbie pink but considerably lighter than Wonderland from the new gel formula. The fall / winter 2014 collection has 254 Rose Tutu, a pink shade. From the packshots, it seems darker (between Rosy Bow and Wonderland), but its a packshot they are sometimes misleading so it may be closer than it looks.

Hi everyone,

I thought I just drop by and tell about my first impressions from the new Dior Palette Carre Bleu, before you pick up many palettes sight unseen.
I have only tried Carre Bleu on and swatched Bar, I will try out Bar tomorrow and edit this if needed.

I don't see what is new other than a new compact which is sleeker and CD Logo which flashed on the cover is not there anymore (which is a pity, I really liked it)
I like that it is a bit sleeker. The new compacts contain also 6 g of products and I compared the ingredients with the current ones, they are almost the same.

The quality? I can't tell the difference from the current quints. That being said, I already like the current formula of Dior, so no issues there. I must mention though, there are still a few shades which are not true to pan, like a blue which is too sheer once swatched. Bar also has a pink shade which doesn't swatch pink but like an off-white but in the pan it looks
quiet pink.

Carre Bleu is unfortunately a bit of a let down so far. The darkest shade is very sheer and hard to get pigment even with a denser crease brush like the blender brush from Tom Ford.
The blues are also very close so two of the shades appear the same on my lids. I think so far I prefer Chanel Tisse Riviera much more.

I just wanted to let you know, before you order many of them online. It seems the quality is not consistent across the range so these should really be bought after trying out in person.
Sara that's some revelation---a bit of a let-down. Thank you so much for providing this assessment. I'm looking forward to your review of BAR, the one palette in which
I'm interested, so far.

Shipping is ok, free after $50 is spent...I have been trying to place a phone order for the last 1.5 hours!! I've called my bank twice, there was a block on Macy's, then I tried again once it was lifted...failed..called the bank back- they said they are declining it due to a Security code issue or there could be an issue with their (Macy's) system undergoing maintenance. Now third time on the phone for 45 minutes and it's still not working but the chap is trying very hard! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Nordstrom was so easy. I'll let you know the outcome.

Hmm, I thought the name Tutu was familiar, now I know why! The shade pictured on chicprofile looks very different to me though, the Cherie Bow Tutu looks like a pastel soft pink whereas this one looks a bit like a dark rosey pink. We'll find out soon no doubt!
Yay- the name Tout Paris is adorable! I think I will end up skipping both blushes. I am very close to backing up the Cannage/My Lady blush in Coral on Saks...it re-appeared weeks ago and has been calling my name since. I used it today and it's so effortless and the kabuki brush works well. There's a tonne of product, 10 g but I never want to run out it's too beautiful. I love how the pattern doesn't just disappear after a few uses.
MissTania I'm so glad you're loving Cannage, Coral enough to back it up. I don't reach for either of mine nearly enough---It's time for me to give them some.
I agree with you---they're pretty amazing.

Hi Medgal,

I am wearing Bar today, it is lovely. The darkest shade in this one works nicely (which didn't work in Carre Bleu). It gives a nice classical smokey eye and it is not too cool so would also be possible to be worn by warmer ladies.

My one and only problem with Bar is that the pink does look like "white" on the lids and two grey shades from the palette look almost the same once applied, with slight variations. I have the same problem with YSL Palettes though, I guess it is not easy to have 5 times of the same shade and make them show up differently. That said I don't understand why they don't throw an interesting shade in between to make it more varsatile. These are quints so they can just skip one of the two shades which look very close and replace it with an accent shade. This is what I think but maybe that is just me.

LOL! I know you love your Dior Palettes so much. Me too, most of the time they are more interesting than the palettes of other brands in terms of color story. I was smitten by Fall 2013/Holiday 2013 and Summer 2014 Palettes, thus each time got them both :eyelove: It is good that you are ready to try those out, you can tell us how you feel about them. I will also make sure to swatch them after they arrive, it is not so far away, in just 3 weeks or so they should be out! :cheer: Hi Medgal, I am wearing Bar today, it is lovely. I've neglected mine, but I am going to get to work. It's a work of art, so special and unique! We were lucky to be able to buy both!

Thank you so very much Sara!!! I couldn't agree w/you more. I have that same issue with one of my Tom Ford palettes and one of my Chanel palettes and I've just
learned to mix & match them. That said, for the price of these high-end palettes, as a consumer I just want them to work as a single entity. After all, isn't that the
point?

I tried many many times, and it did not work in the end. I decided to try one last time tonight, and to just give up if it fails yet again.

Some beautiful swatches can be found on Nailderella, I initially wanted 6 of them but I do have some similar colours, one of them reminds me of the Golden Winter one, I will pick up 2 at least but not 6 as I have many Dior quints already. All look great though :) but I was a bit greedy lol, 2 or 3 will be enough !

Bummer!!!
Indeed, Macy's are being a pain with this. I did place 2 orders today with Saks and Nordstrom. I got the NARS New Attitude blush which I have eyed for ages and 2 Lancome moisturisers from Nordies and the Dior My Lady's and Chanel Innocence blush from Saks...it feels good to be back in business, but I want to see those shipping confirmations first before I get too excited

Yay!! I wish all their blushes came like this. I'm borderline obsessed with them. I decided to order a back up, another for a friend's birthday, and one more for a friend who is undecided (and if she doesn't want it, I'll just have to keep it). So...yes I ordered 3

Thank you Queen of Hauls! I got a shipping confirmation for the Lancome items, and it said NARS would be sent separately.

The SAKS order says processed so all seems ok.

I have enlisted a friend in the US to assist with my Macy's order, so all is well!

Meanwhile, I'm yet to try the Dior Transat golden shimmer!
