How is the texture of these Medgal07 compared to the YSL Coutures? Or Dior quints of the past? In some pictures the new Dior quints look pearlier than they have in the past? Is that my mis-impression?

I've only used Bar 56 so far but the texture & quality of the shadows is good w/good pigmentation and staying power.
Of my YSL quints I've worn Fétiche and Parisienne 07. I would say Fétiche is comparable, maybe even slightly better, but
Parisienne 07 didn't perform as well. That could be my fault. I was hurried and skipped some of my usual application practices.
Dior SunDeck from the Transat collex was my first quint (I can't speak to anything prior to that) and it surpassed my expectations.
When I looked at some of the older Dior quints, they looked 'pearlier' to me than the newer ones. Might that be related to the photo
because I don't find that at all IRL????

I am a little anxious about Tutu, therefore I haven't ordered it. It might be one of those quads that all look like tones of white, Dior had some of these in the last years. But still the combination look interesting, I will decide upon seeing it in person Meanwhile I hope to see some swatches too. By the way Germany gets 13 quads! 13!! I can't wait! :yahoo:

I was wearing this one yesterday! Beautiful palette.

Is it bad that I immediately tried to figure out what this had to do with soccer? :haha:

I got it lunchtime and immediately washed my face (day four of playing with Fétiche lol), reapplied my moisturizer and did an elementary eye look with the two iridescent shades at the bottom and the lovely blue in the centre lol

I am sad to say that I purchased the smoky gold palette, tried it, and returned it today. The colors, while lovely, did not show up on me at all. They just disappeared on my skintone. It took too many layers/passes of my brush to get any intensity.

Plus the deal breaker was that the glittery gold shadow (upper right) irritated the heck out of my eyes. Even when applied wet or with a primer/glitter glue. I usually can wear almost anything without skin or eye irritation. The only exception used to be Chanel's waterproof liners and waterproof mascara. Now I am adding this.

Aww, so sorry it didn't work out for you, What a bummer. Thats awful that it irritated your eyes.

I went past my local counter today to check out Rose Tutu lipstick from the new collection...it was pretty but I passed- I have enough yellow based pinks and I think I can do without.

The new quints were drop-dead gorgeous, #796 was breath-taking.

I checked the 2 blushes out expecting to see Rose Libertine, instead I saw Lady Red #766 and Rose Diorette #856. I think I'll be going back tomorrow for 856.

Where did you see the polishes of Dior Snow Collection? Did they have the highlighter there as well?

I swatched and prepared a draft but never published, if these are released now I should do so ;-)

I love, love love quint 796---it is so up my eyeshadow alley. I have a few of the NPs sitting in my online cart but Emotion is one I've not seen or heard of. It's gorgeous!
