Paula's Choice - don't believe anything that person says. She isn't an "expert" in any way.

Apart from that, some people do react badly to alcohol in makeup or skincare. I can tolerate it sometimes, but I have dry skin in general, so I have to be careful. As far as fragrance is concerned, even my sensitive skin never had any problems with any fragrance. I think the whole "fragrance is bad" thing is just another hype courtesy of those eco-crazy idiots who claim to have countless allergies. Unfortunately the EU has bought into these idiocies already and a lot of perfumes were re-formulated (and made worse) because of it. Only because one in a million people reacts with an allergy to something like oakmoss.

This review of the Diorskin Nude Skin Glowing Makeup that I just bought and loved in store makes me sad. I know that fragrance isn't awesome, but I wasn't too worried. Is it really that bad? http://www.paulaschoice.com/beautypedia-skin-care-reviews/by-brand/dior/_/Diorskin-nude-skin-glowing-makeup-spf-15
I read Paula's Choice reviews, but I also look at makeupalley, blogs, etc. I would take her makeup suggestions with a grain of salt. I've used 2 bottles now of the Dior Nude foundation and didn't notice any problems. However, I also have used MAC foundations and broke out using them (she offers a MAC foundation as an alternative to Dior in the link you provided). I wouldn't get too hung up over that website. I will say that the skincare suggestions usually work for me though.

Thanks! If I for some reason I start reacting badly I can always take it back. That's one good thing about Sephora's return policy.

Interesting. I can use almost all foundations without breaking out, it's really just a matter of finding something that doesn't make me look flakey, and this did a really good job of that.

if your skin is dry you should try lancome teint miracle. by far the best liquid foundation for dry skin

Does anyone know how Dior's brushes are? I'm specifically interested in either of the foundation brushes.
I love their brushes. I have a set and can not say enough good things. The full coverage brush is comparable to shesido foundation brush. It's is one my favorite foundation brushes. I have the powder and eyeshadow and liner brush. I also have a lip brush.

I think these reviews are merely someone's opinion about the product. What matters is your opinion and whether or not you are bothered by the fragrance and/or the
alcohol content. One product does not fit all and assessments do vary. Don't let a review diminish your enjoyment of the product.

I have the full coverage brush and while I like it, I primarily save it for days when I have more time. The head itself is pretty small and I find that it takes time to stipple the foundation on and buff it in. The results are very nice though :)

I also have the full coverage one. It's made really well and while I have other brushes with the same idea this one is just ok... I am still trying to make it work for me. I have a feeling it sucks in the product like crazy .

British Beauty Blogger posted her first impressions of the Spring 2015 collection and I can't say I'm overly impressed or tempted by it.

I'm officially loving my Dior foundation and am wondering what other Dior products are worth the money. Any serious standouts in the permanent collection?
